I have separated the two seedlings into their own pots. They were stretching out quite a bit, got to about 70mm in hight.
I buried them about 2 thirds of their height into the soil.
I have also put them out into more light - seem to be growing a little slowly.
Those damn lil aphids are persistent though, they keep coming back, despite trying multiple options. next step is a pesticide.
Also added some perlite and Coco choir to the soil mix, for some added oxygen.
soil - 40%
perlite - 30%
Coco - 30%
This strain is tricky. Mine are a week ahead and bigger but I think the bad weather has triggered flowering in mine. I update on a Sunday or Monday. This week's pics will be interesting. South Africans have all seasons in 1 day.
Howzit manmy plants did quite a bit of stretching in the beginning, think that's why they might be a lil small at 5 weeks. I repotted them deeper, and stuck them in the sun and they're doing so much better. Haven't used the lights yet, but it should be interesting. The soil is our home grown compost lol. Will follow your grow too man!
They will do better outside, and you can prevent rain from soaking them by using a few translucent beach or patio umbrellas. Instant greenhouse. If it’s windy angle them into the wind.
Hey @Grower! Nice to see another South African on here. I'm growing an auto in Pretoria. I think maybe your plants need more sunlight? Don't let the pots get hot though. But they're looking pretty good and since they're photoperiods not autos you've got time to fix things. I see you'r getting lights, that should be interesting! What kind of soil are you using? I see you say it's 40% soil. Is that 40% compost? Will be following your grow man! Awesome! 💥
