I look forward to this variety like a little boy. Four seeds germinated without problems, the fifth one has a much shorter germ, but hopefully it won't be a problem.

As I mentioned at germination, one seed had a short germ and looked problematic. And my fears have come true, because it has not come out of the soil yet. I'll give it some more time and replace it with another variety if necessary. It's quite cold in the basement where my tent is located, so I have to have light close to the plants to keep them warm. Which will make them grow like lettuce :-)
UPDATE: The fifth seed didn't actually grow out of the soil, so I replaced it with Seriosa from Serious Seeds, which I got for free when I bought AK-47. Both varieties have Mimosa genes, so they are actually distant relatives :-)

They're growing :) The Seriosa alternate is doing well and the other variety is growing like crazy too. Not much to write, that's in the next weeks.

The plants are growing. I noticed a CalMag deficiency, so I started adding CalMag from Biobizz. Exactly at the end of the third week, I cut the plants using the topping technique, as I am going to scrog. This applies to Mimosa x Orange Punch. Seriosa as a week late replacement still has time to trim. It's also interesting to observe that the bigger the plants get, the lower the CO2 levels get, because they have a higher consumption :)
Note: TH-9 fertilizer was spray applied exactly ten days before the switch to flowering.

Last week before the transition to flowering. The plants have grown quite a lot, so the tallest one is 43 centimetres tall. I've thinned them out a bit, both the leaves and the twigs in the lower levels where the light doesn't reach anyway. Tomorrow I'll switch to flowering and one phase will be over.

The first week of flowering is over. The plants have pulled through as usual. I installed a net for SCROG and trimmed everything under the net - that means the twigs in the lower levels and especially the leaves growing out of the main stem, which didn't get any light anyway. I also changed the lamp from 4200K to 3100K, which has a more suitable spectrum for the flowering stage.
Note: TH-9 was spray applied on the first day of flowering.

The second week of flowering is over. The plants have pulled up a bit again, but less than last week. The canopy has thickened, so hopefully by the third week the plants will be fully focused on flowering. However, I must note that I have not seen such a slow onset of flowering. Maybe some level of stress, but I can't think of how that would happen when I keep doing everything the same way. Anyway, a pleasant smell has already started to spread from the tent. I installed a super spreader to achieve the same DLI in the corners as well as directly under the lamp.
Note: TH-9 was added to the other fertilizers this time exactly 10 days after the last spray application.

The third week of flowering is over. The plants have pulled up again, although I wish they hadn't :) The Seriosa is the biggest stretcher, now 82 cm, the MoP is a bit shorter - the tallest is 76 cm. Trichome formation can already be observed on two plants. Flowering has finally started properly, but compared to the past I think the plants are about a week late.

The fourth week is over. The plants have stopped growing and are now fully focused on flowering. They all have a thick layer of trichomes. Mimosa x Orange Punch has many pistils already beautiful in colour, Seriosa still white. As for the aroma, the MOP produces a wonderful citrus aroma and it is a sheer joy to smell. Seriosa has a special scent that I can't describe, but I definitely like it :)
Note: TH9 was applied 10 days after the last application separately from the other fertilizers.

The fifth week of flowering is over. The flowers are starting to increase in size and are all covered in a beautiful layer of trichomes. The scent is already strong, wonderfully citrusy. The whole basement where I have my tent is scented and so is the ground floor.

The sixth week of flowering is over. The flowers have swelled up a bit more and are entering the last phase of maturation. Seriosa is iron deficient, probably due to the one week shorter growing season and the fact that she has pulled up the most of all. Iron supplemented. The aroma is even more intense and wonderfully citrusy - with a hint of spice in Seriosa. Wonderful!

The seventh week is over. The plants are at the stage where the flowers are no longer growing in size, but have yet to mature and gain weight. Since Seriosa has a shorter flowering time, the trichomes are milky but not yet amber. MOP does not have trichomes that are milky yet.

Week eight is over. The plants are coming to the final. Looking through the microscope, I judge that Seriosa will need another week and Mimosa Orange Punch a week or two. Seriosa has started foxtailing on two buds. This is from too much light, as two branches are taller than the others and thus receive light from the lamp, plus the reflection from the shade. After all, the PPFD 1300 is already a lot. So I had to tie the branches so that the amount of light is lower.

Ninth week of flowering over. Seriosa is now ripe for harvesting because of its shorter flowering time. A microscopic view showed about half of the trichomes milky, the rest amber. Ideal to harvest. Mimosa Orange Punch will get an extra week and it will be just right.

Seriosa is ready for harvest. It's easy because the buds don't grow many leaves, so trimming is simple. The buds are beautifully covered with trichomes and the smell is luxurious too, so we'll see after a month in the jars.
So even Mimosa Orange Punch has had it. After drying and curing we will see what kind of work has been done. I hope it's monumental. I will test again immediately after drying and then after a month of curing.
