Heavy defoliation this week. Added calmag and lowered bio grow, flowers require calcium and magnesium in late flower, the moment they start to change colour or get new brown spots, I assume they require it.

Hi guys, Is anyone using Cal Mag for a bloom booster only? I think I should have started using it 2 weeks ago to prevent the brown tips, rest of leaf is perfect.

4th-5th week of flowering, right at the peak of this stage. But not after, need for nitrogen ceases. You should use Cal-Mag during the vegetative and early bloom stages and during the halfway point of the flowering stage, you might want to reduce the application to 3 ml/gallon, to avoid adding a toxic level of nitrogen as nitrogen is the most sensitive to toxicity of all the minerals. Calcium, magnesium, the grease on the wheels that makes everything work.

Growing indoors in Ireland is a challenge, the humidity is high and temperature low, but I make sure to warm the water they are fed up to 23 degrees celcius and I also have central heating for a few hours a day, and if we geta big freeze, they get blow heater too.

Update: Feeding all 4 strains with water for a week has affected this GSC the most, losing 2 shades of green on the front left plant, this ia a sativa dominant trait, as it did not affect the colour of the indica plants in my other diaries. GSC seems more hungry than the other plants.

I brought in a 20l dehumidifier 2 weeks ago, it has lowered the overall RH to 50 daytime, 41 RH at night. This is essential for constant growth, I really notice a huge increase in bud production

I turned the lights to 12/12.. for this grow I need to have all my plants on the same light schedule because I have flowering plants also in same room. Usually I would give autos 18/6

I'm happy with defoliation this week.. it's finally paid off, the plant is very stacked from bottom to top, not like my other plants that have seperation.

my soil is homemade, a blend of Irish peat moss and worm compost with blood, fish and bone meal, dried seaweed, chicken manure and epsom salt. Perlite is less than 5%
