This seed was gifted to me so I am unsure of the breeder but was assured it was a Gorilla Glue auto. I will be running it under 2 Spectrum King CC-100 full spectrum white leds powered by Cree (no purple here). I will running Humboldts Secret Supplies nutrients in coco loco soil by FoxFarms.
Day 7 - I'm a little surprised she survived. We may have a fighter on our hands.
This appears to either be an extremely slow starter or just weak. It perked up a bit once I started the nutrients. I will continue to see how it goes for now.
Day 14 - this girl is a lot stronger than I expected which is a great thing. She finally started sucking up those wonderful nutrients. Next couple weeks should be interesting.
This week and next will be all about getting the lst all set. Her growth rate has become steady. Hopefully this week I'll get a lot of stem growth.
Day 19 - I may be in trouble, I'm seeing signs of preflower pretty early. That's what you get with unknown genetics.
Well unfortunately she has already started her preflowering. I expect that a stretch is in her near future. Since she started transitioning so early I may not get the lst set the way I wanted. I will hold off any heavy lst adjustments or defoliation during her stretch.
This week will be all about the stretch. She started a little sooner than I expected so I stopped all lst training. I'm just going to let her go until she's done stretching.
Day 35 - I adjusted her tie downs today to open her up a bit. I also cleared some weaker budsites down low on the stems.
This girl is chugging along nicely now. I think she is about to finish her stretch in the next couple of days. Once I am sure it is finished I will adjust the nutrients by lowering the base a and b and increasing the flower stacker.
She has finished her stretch and now the focus will be on getting the flowers to stack. I didn't get as many good tops as I wanted but should still get 4 or 5 real nice colas with a little luck.
Not much change this week. She is filling out nicely and adds more trichomes daily. She still shooting lots of new pistils. The buds are getting extremely dark but not sure if it's going purple or not.
This lady is chugging along and stacking nicely. She still shooting lots of new pistils while some have already matured. The trichomes level production has been pretty amazing so far.
Just waiting for her to finish at this point. This week will be her last week with nutrients as I will start her flush next week. She is showing a lot of purple and dark green down in the buds.
I have flushed this lady and have begun only giving her ph'd water. She has actually swelled nicely over the past couple days. Lots of nice purples in the flowers.
My expectations for this girl were pretty low so I am more than happy with the outcome. She took a lot of lst early and seemed to handle it just fine. The buds on this girl are dense and sticky. I'm get strong fuel and rubber terps. For what was pretty much an unknown bean she turned out well.
This girl was pretty easy to harvest. There were a lot of fans and plenty of space between the stems so I was able to hang the entire plant. She will dry at about 73°F at around 55-58% RH for about 5-7 days. She ended up being a great daytime smoke. She has a very nice sour berry fuel taste.
