Girls germinated quickly, so that's a good sign. One seed had an incident with the camera close-up and got squished a bit.
They can be pretty resilient so seeing if she makes it.
New batch of FF OF should be good for two grows and finally setup a humidifier with an inkbird to match my wifi heating controls.
Will also be trying out the line of nutrients from General Hydroponics to match the Rapid Start I've been using.
Hope to avoid some of the dryness I've been seeing in the previous grows and make the plants as comfortable as possible.
This strain came up on MVB during a search for sativa but I don't know much else about it. Excited to see what Night Owl is all about.
Wasn't sure the squished night Owl was going to make it so I threw in a seed from organicx. Something is coming up, only time will tell what. Using Rapid Start with their water.
Everything cruising along nicely. Still using Rapid Start as only additive. Interesting leaf structure this far on the night owls and the organicx seems like it will be more on the tall and slender side.
Group pics of the girls before their first drink of the General Hydroponics nutrients. The terpenes where intense afterwards so that seems positive.
A few days later and still a strong smell. I like that I am not seeing browning on the tips of the leaves so far with the GH liquid nutrients.
So glad the humidifier also seems to be keeping them healthier this go around. The Inkbird humidistat is working as intended at 55 RH.
Using LST this week. I had noticed they all were growing to one side. I bent them the other way towards the center of the tent to even out the space they are using in their grow bags and to get more light across each plant. This also encourages larger side colas rather than one dominant center cola. They arent tall enough to run n the fan just yet. Maybe in another week.
They looked dry and hungry so they got a whole gallon of nutrients today. I expect to give them another half gallon in about 3 days. They look much better after raising the light and installing the fan. Put carbon filter on full speed.
Hoping to see the buds gain some weight over the next few weeks.
The night owls look ready already and the organicx is filling out nicely.
Looks like it's going to be another successful grow.
The organicx almost reminds me of a weeping willow tree.
Think I'm running out of time for this one. The night owls are past ready and the organicx is showing orange hairs. Even though I'd like to run the organicx for another two weeks, the night owls are ready now.
Not a lot of options when you only have a small space and do all your wet trimming and drying in your veg/flower tent all at once.
The night owls would've been best in a sea of green and the organicx wanted more space in the grow tent.
It's been a pleasant journey with these ones and am ready to get to chopping.
Liked how big this plant wanted to grow. I would have liked to have given it more vertical space and more time to mature. Seemed like an auto flower that grows a bit on the slower side. Next-level fruity.
