Getting bigger, tried panoramic shot to get her all in. Little bit of crinkle on sides probably mix of light mover not adjust perfectly yet and the ph up I use competing with the magnesium. Wish general hydroponics still had the dry ph up (potassium carbonate) now I'm using a combo of calcium hydroxide (kelp4less ph up) and potassium hydroxide (flakes left from testing pgr's). Calcium alone cause to much salt buildup.

Day 3 from flip, still need to defoliate and get CO2 up and going. Light mover up and going and fine tuned. Little Mg def. on 2 small spots but otherwise growing good. About to put order in for 3 new strains : Afghan Cow (ASH x Kaya 47 x Kali Mist , CBG Force (THC: 0.08% , CBD: 0.6% , CBG: 15%) , Super Skunk (Regular for breeding, Skunk#1 x Afghani)

Still no CO2 augmentation, defoliation is going well as life will let me get back there to trim up, TDS is stable at about 1k and PH at 5.7. Ran fresh what in PH 6.7 and TDS 411 and run off after letting pump cycle about 15 min was 1045ppm & 5.7. Shes looking good little lighter color green than normal and seems to be slightly delayed in floral output. She will bounce back never has let me down yet hell or high water Dr. Kripplings "Incredible bulk" still will out preform most other strains she's put up against.

decided not to add co2 to this round, everything growing good. Wish I had more time to defoliate and thin out earlier on in grow. Added two old leds I fixed to the sides a blurple and a double cob . cleaned the filter I straped around my water pump it was full of algae. canopy not anywhere even as my past grows , I think its down to it being 1 plant and the sides got traines while center had more time vertical. by my count about 30 more days till harvest. Ive eased back on fertigation this run. I wanted the most yeild with least put in to it money-wise. only thing id really would change on this grow would be more defoliation and maybe topping the center early on when i was trains her sides out. Now the question is do i put up the 2nd net or let it ride? I know they flop about 10-14 days before harvest, but the tops are packed tight together. might use bit of the hemp twine where needed setup like youd see grapes growing on.

Day 53 or 55 my calendar and my grow assistant saying different stuff... Started 3/21/2024 goes for 70ish days Found 2 fan leaves with spider mites , just the 2 no more on any others I can see. I scoped them out looks like regular two spotted mites. Glad it's not russet mites again haven't a mite infestation in good while. Last pest I had was aphids oddly enough. Saw no adults just small and med. Nymphs. The cob led I got running overheated from its fans failing . They were good lights for the time but man I love the passive cooling of quantum boards. Filled res up with general hydroponics Lucas formula and extreme blend from kelp4less. So far so good almost to the finish line!

Almost week 10 This grow went by soo fast. I watered with molasses and the kelp4less extreme blend ph to 5.6 range. digital meter says 6.1 but my fluid tester is orange with slight tint of yellow. ppm going in are low and is pulling out about 700ppm of salts. highest its ever been for this stage . but from what it started out as I got it to normal ranges with out plant freaking out. added a video and a few pics of the veg side. I got new tsw2000 light in as a backup the new design is soooo much better then ones i bought. I also got my order in from seedsman og kush , peyote wifi cbd , strawberry grape banana , and white widow regular. Can hardly wait to start the breeding! So far the mite sighting looks to be a one off fluke as no others have been spotted.

Harvest Time!!! started 6.5.24 few days later life happens and all that. smelling and looking good , pain in the butt trying to cut and untangle it from netting and itself. My purple pair of ķitchen dish washing gloves crusty with trichs. Used my spare scrog net and few ratchet hangers to hang buds up . I've a box fan , ocillilating fan , all metal round fan , and my ducting fan running circulation . 30% of harvest trimmed to 6-8" pieces , rest is 12"- 20" chunks Ill get to when I can. Ill follow up when its fully dried for a weight in.

After drying and curing total grade a buds in at 976 grams with couple gallons of c grade larf and leaf. I Think if I had caught high EC earlier on, and had more time to train and defoliate maybe got CO2 hooked back up. It was a grow I wanted to just dabble with , training and defoliate are easier with more plants.

WOW i thought my one plant scrog was big lmao think might be the largest 1 plant I've ever seen well done for your patience going to be a Fing huge yield :) imma say 2kg :)
gnome
gnomecommented10 months ago
@TheUk420Show, She's 213cm x 122cm , Id say 1 square meter is at 53cm tall (net to tips) rest ranges from 20cm - 48cm. On avg I get 1400g with 90% being grade "A" and 5% "B+". Not really any "larf" or fluff with the strain. Even the lower buds are almost on point with some of my other strains upper mid grade. If I really pushed this setup I definitely could hit the 2Kg mark or more. With working , household chores , 2 boys one just turned 3y.o I just don't have the kind of time to dedicate to making it maxed out a.t.m. I will keep this grow updated and give decent attention to harvest pics and number crunching.

What light?
gnome
gnomecommenteda year ago
@Jorgeeee, marshydro tsw2000 300w hung about 10-12" from tops, I've 3 on light mover in bloom 28" on center from each other. Paid 240$ -260$ per light, I bought 2 saw that they rocked and got 3 more during 420 sale. They have 5 year warranty when bought from marshydro site and customer service at least for me has been 5 stars.

week 6! (Day 42)

gnomecommentedweek 25a year ago
Well I ordered an electronic PH and a TDS/EC meters. I usually use Ph fluid I find it more consistent, but figure I'd double check anyway . I've 2 old TDS meters same brand they measure with in 30 ppm of each other, but their buttons are getting touchy so I got a new TDS pen. Took a reading from my veg res old pen : 169 ppm new pen: 170 ppm ok cool everything is kosher. I put new pen in bloom res 2480ppm (wth??) old pen 104 ( x10) or 1040ppm. I'm guessing the older pens are accurate in a certain range? This strain doesn't mind hot nutes luckily but I like tds range of 800 - 1200ppm.

Going to try to get better/different shots space is tight and my zoom out only does so much. If anyone wants specific pic of anything in the garden just let me know.
