Here we go again with a new round.
This time I went for 2 Amnesia strains, Amnesia Kush & Amnesia Lemon. Both seem to have about the same flowering period, but we have to see about that.
The light is a LED Viparspectra 450w that draws +/-200w from the wall. On day 5 I've flipped both switches on.
There's a heating mat running 24h that keeps temperatures around 22Β°C during dark hours(6) & 28Β°C when the lights are on.
When they go in the final grow room, they'll get bigger shoes (11L) and cob's Cree cxb3590 as their sunshine above their heads π
But this first week is most of all germination. Just some pure rainwater and that's it for now. Next week I'll probably be adding some nutes, wich will be Remo Nutrients again.
I've seeded 3 Amnesia Kush & 2 Amnesia Lemon seeds in 1L pots. After 4 days they all showed up.
She is a heavy eater. I only fed her at .8 EC (400ppm) and I got about 60% of the harvest (based on canopy area) I should have gotten. Iβm hydro not soil so take my EC with that in mind.
@Tazard, I'm feeding them once a week now. I'm halfway week 6.
Every other day they get rainwater with EC 0.1 When feeding them 0.6
They're 14 days now in fertilized soil, so I gotta keep that in mind and don't overfeed them.
The leaves are looking ok, so that's a good sign. But 0.8 is probably not high enough during flowering. I tend to go as high as 1.7 - 1.8 during flowering. Maybe even 2.0 with sativa dominant strains. I have seen EC levels in diaries that reach 4.0 and even higher π² That just has to be too much...π―
@DinafemSeeds, Thx Mark!
It was obvious that those 1 liter pots became too small for these Amnesia's. The soil was also very light fertilized and I gave them most of the time plain rainwater. So a nitrogen deficiency was the result. But now they're growing pretty good & fast in their 11 liter pots.
24 days was way too long, but I couldn't repot them earlier. I've bought 5 liter pots now.
So they can go from 1 liter to 5 liter to 11 liter.
A nice looking set up and some very healthy looking seedling π
Good luck with the grow my friend. I'll be along for the ride and watching with interest ππ
All the best π
