Keeping humidity dome (water bottle) over top for most of the day. Watered maybe 200 ml of ph’d water around the pot, nowhere near the stem. Also started with a dry pot (didn’t add any water to medium) prior to planting seed.
GWK is a week behind the DG.
Started adding cal-mag this week. Been playing with light distance and humidity a little this week.
DG starting to show sign of flowering, sooner than expected
They both took OFF this week. The DG had what I thought might be some light burn. My white pistols were turning a little orange? Some on the bottom buds too but not the top flower so maybe genetics? Who knows.
The GWK seems a little slower growing but growing none the less. Both had their lst adjusted and a few leaves pulled
Happy girls. Buds swelling nicely. Got the frosties poppin off.
They’re loving the fish shit.
The GWK passed DG in height this week and just starting her buds. Week 5 for her.
DG swelling continues. She’s getting a real twangy smell to her. Nice and resiny already. I’m happy.
GWK is still lookin a little more sad at times but growing and has her moments of looking normal. Upped the water a little and she’s now bout 32 in tall. Bud development is a little slower
Switched over to some cronk nutrients after running out to roots organics. Starting out with a little over half recommended feed just in case
Start of week 8 for DG. Buds are still filling out. Wondering when of if I should flush her before harvest? Only been using Cronk Nutrients for a couple of weeks so I don’t think there should be too much of salt build up. Haven’t tested and ppm from runoff. She still showing a little bit of bite or light burn so I fed her plain ph’d water for 2 feeds in a row so we’ll see.
The GWK is starting week 7. She’s taller but still has a lot of filling out to do. She also showed a few leaves of nute burn but I’m pushing her. She had one plain water feeding this past week. She’s looks great though.
Flush or no flush? I think I’m a couple weeks out from DG harvest.
Day 70- The double grapes nuggs are rock hard, frosty, and sticky. Trichomes are still mostly cloudy with some amber showing up on leaves.
Update on the grape walker kush coming soon
Day 74- Double grape is just at a waiting game. Nothing new besides her frosting up and swelling a little bit. Had some type of deficiency going on cause I flushed last week, prolly too early and just been givin water since. Hoping to chop her in the next week.
Day 67- Grape Walker Kush is putting on weight. A little more foliage than I expected but overall she smells great and starting to get sticky.
Week 11: DG is coming down tomorrow on day 78. 20-30% amber trichs she’s smells amazing. Sticky and oily. Got a spare 2x2 I’m gonna connect to the grow tent as the GWK finishes up. She prolly has another 2-3 weeks left which would put her well over the breeder’s time period but I’ll be patient :)
Chopped on Day 80!
Harvested on day 80. Overall DG was a great first grow. She showed early yellowing of leaf tips which didn’t get out of hand so I think it was just genetics. She hit her real stride around week 6-7 and it was all good from there. She did go about a 2 weeks longer than the 65-70 day breeder cycle time.
Happy I made it to harvest as I know that’s a lot of first growers issue. She’s sticky, funky, and chunky. Nothing bad to say. I definitely learned some things that I’lol be implementing next grow. Probably do another run of Autos from Mephisto as I have a few. But my goal is to get into the Photos, preferably the kushiest of the kushy lol. If anybody has any suggestions of some fire Gas, point me in the direction. More updates to come, so for the next week or so, just monitoring. Stay high growmies!
Straight water this week. She’s maybe drinking 1.5L every 3 days. We’re gettin close. I’d say one more week. She’s more funky than the DG, but not nearly as sticky.
Chopped the GWK on Day 97. 2 weeks longer than the breeder said. No complaints. I flushed her a little early so her leaves curled pretty good but overall she’s funky and frosty. Gonna take this dry and cure a little slower.
@millerman543, man yours look very vibrant and healthy. They’re sure to produce some juicy fruit! I think I got lucky with good genetics but always learning. Thanks man ✊🏾
