Second week of flowering and she's exploding! She's stretching so much in the last days. Added more clips and did some minor LST. 1.5 litre every 48 hours. Lights at 80% at 38 cm. Set the extraction vent at the minimum 24/7 to obtain 55%-60% humidity. I cut several leaves last week, but she keeps growing. Should I defoliate even more?

I defoliated just before and even during the first week of flowering, but she keeps growing so many leaves even during the second week of flowering. Should I defoliate right now or wait a couple of weeks? I worry I could halt the flowering or cause even more useless stress...

Hey, Defoliating during the flowering stage can be a bit tricky, as you don't want to stress your plant too much or interfere with the flowering process. Since you've already defoliated just before and during the first week of flowering, it's possible that your plant is responding by producing new leaves. This can happen as the plant tries to compensate for the lost foliage. If your plant is still growing an excessive amount of leaves during the second week of flowering, you could consider doing some light defoliation to remove any large fan leaves that are blocking light penetration to lower bud sites. However, be careful not to remove too many leaves, as this can indeed stress the plant and potentially slow down the flowering process. It's generally recommended to wait until later in the flowering stage, around weeks 3-4, before doing any major defoliation. By this time, your plant should have established its bud sites, and removing excess foliage can help improve airflow and light penetration to the lower buds without causing too much stress. Ultimately, the decision to defoliate right now or wait a couple of weeks depends on your judgment and the specific needs of your plant. Keep a close eye on its growth and health, and adjust your defoliation strategy accordingly. Remember, a little bit of stress can sometimes be beneficial for encouraging resin production and overall bud development, but it's essential to strike the right balance to ensure a successful harvest. Happy growing! 🌿

I had some issues this week. Last week I noticed some burns on the tips of the leaves, and I immediately thought I overfed her (I use bio-bizz). This week, I decrease the bio-grow (from 1 to 0.5 ml/l). She didnt take it very well. What am I missing? Temperatures also dropped..

Quanto Bloom e top max stai usando?

The way the tips are burned and curling up, with the rest of the leaf being pretty dark has me thinking nutrient burn. Then the purplish, I’d assume, is just the plant coming into its late flowering color, which was probably helped along faster with the temperature drop you mentioned
