Put seed in paper towel on Tuesday 2/20/24 and it germinated on Wednesday 2/21/24, same night I placed in soil. Covered wit a dome and placed in the tent.
Love the scent and resilience of my current Pink Certz in the flowering tent that I figured why not pop another one and hope it resembles that one. Planning on taking cuttings from this plant and using one clone to cross with Jet Fuel Gelato, so we will see how that go 🤞🙏!
Growing nicely so far but I’m not sure yet whether to veg it out long enough for clones or not, but for sure I will be using this plant for breeding with Jet Fuel Gelato pollen.
Not sure if to move into dry/breeding tent to pollinate or keep her in the veg tent to grow enough to take cuttings.
This Pink Certz I might take cuttings from to veg and flower but the main idea of this plant is for breeding with Jet Fuel Gelato. It’s doing well although I’m keeping it in the solo cup, reason being is to keep it small and if I decide to not take cuttings I’ll place her to flower sooner!
Growing well and staying small lol, was hoping more branches stretched out to take cuttings but it being in a solo cup shouldn’t expect too much. Might just flower her as this was initially to cross pollinate for seeds!
Looking good besides the sad part that it’s in a tight solo cup, but again this plant will be used for crossing with Jet Fuel Gelato feminized pollen for seeds! Soon this plant will be flipped to 12/12 for flowering.
I think I’ve been forgetting this is to pollinate and cross breed, it’s in a solo cup and I’ve vegged it for a pretty long time while keeping these roots majorly root bound. So it has to go to flowering ASAP specially because the Jet Fuel Gelato that is going to pollinate this is going to be ready to release pollen within a couple weeks if not less! Should be doing all this a little more legit like pheno hunting and properly caring for them but this is for myself so it works for me ☺️😇!
Pink Certz took me wayyy too long to flip to flower but finally I have done so! She has shown a little stretch so far which I’m hoping stays slow and low as it’s only for cross breeding. But otherwise it’s doing well and looking great.
Pink Certz is doing ok has yet to show any female signs though. Again I wish I wouldn’t have vegged it for so long but it happend, just have to work with what I have and keep moving forward!
Showing flowering signs finally and of course watering almost daily which sucks. Been brushing some pollen on her pistils with pollen I collected from the Jet Fuel Gelato!
Defoliated a lot for more air flow in such small place and more light penetration since I have the light at 10% dimmed to keep temp stable.
Still pollinating with Jet Fuel Gelato pollen and pistils are starting to shrivel which indicates they are pollinating.
Pink Certz have taken plenty pollen so shortly seeds will start to form, crossed with Jet Fuel Gelato and I will name this strain Pink Airline. I will germinate some seeds and take clones to choose which pheno to backcross for a more stable genetic make up!
Pink Certz is not showing many seed pods, I did overload her with pollen but guess she rejected lol. Hopefully the little beans it is creating will be enough for some viable seeds which I can clone, back cross and make more feminized seeds.
Doing well and almost finishing up, not too much bud nor seeds but this was just a small crossing batch I wanted for myself. Seeds should be maturing soon before harvest.
Finally had to harvest this lady and she has held up well after all. Hope to get enough viable seeds to produce future buds, will update after plant has dried and seeds have been picked off!
