I've put the seed in a coconut bloc
Lamp is at minimum intensity
30th of october: plant has been put in a 20L pot with Plagron Allmix soil
1st of november, I gave it some Vita Race
Starting week 3 today since germination with some Vita Race on the leaves. I give 0.4 liters with 1 mL/L Power Roots every 2-3 days.
The top of the leaves seems to lose some vitality.
What could be the reason?
Same issue as my last attempts. Rhe grow stops and the leaves are drying out starting with the older ones. I am desperate.
On week 3, I just gave it 1L of water and 1mL of Power Roots once.
While I was checking the NPK value of my soil (which is 1-2-1 by the way), I read that the soil needs to be rinced at first use. I unfortunatly skipped that step which could be the reason of all my troubles.
So I did rince my soil now even if it is probably too late. I will see if there is any improvment. I will keep on going for one more week. If things are not improving, I will start over from scratch.
Fingers crossed.
As I already said, I rinced the soil with 10L of water. I will wait for another 4 days to see the result but I think that I will start over with a new seed after that because I think that too much damage has been done already. Today, I cut off some of the dry leaves.
Today starts week 6. I flushed the soil 9 days ago. As I will not have time tomorrow, I gave the lady 6L of water today. Ir seems that the new leaves are greener but I can already see some yellow at the tip of it. I will keep on the wet-dry cycle and gently add some nutrients if needed next time. It takes time to dry so I think that with the 6L I gave today, I should be okay for the next week.
It has been 7 days that I gave the lady 6L of waters. I also gave a bit of Vita Race on the leaves on tuesday. The plant keeps on growing slowly. In overall, she looks better even if it is not perfect yet. Flowering has not started yet.
It's too bad that the start was so hard because the lady is well back on track now. A stretch occured last week and it grew 10 cm in a week. The first pistils are coming out which means flowering is finally started. It will not be a good harvest but at least I will have learn a lot of things I think. Next time will be better, I am sure of it.
Hello. Sorry for the absence these last weeks but with the Christmas hollidays and new year and so on, I didn't have the time for the follow up. As you can see, things are going way better now. Every week I keep cutting off dry leaves but otherwise the lady looks fine. I start smelling some pine smells.
I got some difficulties at the beginnig. My mistake was that I forgot to rince the soil before starting the grow. I didn't give up thanks to Grow Diaries' community, I got good advice that allowed me to finally have a successfull harvest despite the lost weeks.
