looking great this week!!! very nice growth and the crazy genetics continue to impress, the 4leafer is going to be a decent size plant with no training I think. I'm going to leave her to do what we wants and watch and learn

cocotastrophestarted grow question 6y
In the cover photo for this grow is the flower in mention. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what this is. Its only this one flower out of 5 plants. It's on the plant which has mad genetics, if you look back through the grow you'll see this.

Congratulations you'v won the genetics lottery! This condition is known as allopolyploidy! Most species with a nuclei (eukaryotes) are diploid, meaning they were given two pairs of chromosomes—one set inherited from each parent. A Polyploidy however is an individual strain having chromosomes composed of multiple 'sets' derived from different species. In other words this a rare genetic mutation caused by breeding plants, but it will have no negative effects on your current grow. Sit back relax and watch it do its thing 😎

Looking great this week, really stacking on the weight now and the smell has intensified alot. The polyploidy plant continues to amaze me I think it's the best plant by far. It has been completely untrained with a massive central cola.

Relatively easy grow with slight mishap on my behalf. I can't wait for it to fully dry to weigh and do smoke report. Now dry the GSC smokes amazingly smooth and creamy with a slight citrus hint on exhale. The high is not overly heavy which makes for great all round smoking.

have you seen the 4 leaf GSC maybe it's just me being a noob but I find it extraordinary.

I will be doing buddy I have 2 now one with 3 leaves and one with 4 leaves emerging with every new node

@BeefWellingtons, I will be taking lots of pics 👌. Better yields are always welcomed and thank you.

@cocotastrophe, I've had crazy genetics on my grows. Take pics and post em. Sometimes weird genetics give better yields. Good luck with your grow!
Trainrails
Awesome buds! I'm going to be growing this strain next when my current plant is done, you got any specific tips? 😁
Trainrails
Trainrailscommented6y
@cocotastrophe,what a beast! That is a very smart idea, I guess that way you are also able to more accurately compare the impact of certain training techniques? Most people just tell you to train your plant but, although their reasoning is very solid, I have the feeling there are not a lot of direct comparisons in similar grow conditions. Definitely going to try this once I have the appropriate grow space myself.
cocotastrophe
cocotastrophecommented6y
@Trainrails,No problem mate! If I do a few of the same strain I always leave 1 plant to do it's own thing, to watch and learn. I find this helps when training the others. The plant in the cover photo was allopolyploidy and is completely untrained resulting in 1 massive cola

@cocotastrophe, I hope I'll do 😊 thanks! I'll make sure to keep that in mind for all my plants

@cocotastrophe, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Didn't see your message for some reason. For Auto's I would follow the vegetative guide until the vegetative or vertical growth stops. I would then jump to the 3rd week in the flowering phase. The reason for this is that I would want as much vegetative growth as possible. You don't need any other nutes to compliment it, just the standard chart.
cocotastrophe
cocotastrophecommented6y
@SHOGUN, thanks, I have been looking for a feed chart for autoflower strains can only find coco feed chart. If you could recommend other nutes to compliment the a&b that would be great .
