3 Mephistos

Just when I was about to give up, all 3 broke soil 5 days after planting. I had trouble getting the humidity and temp correct, but I figured it out. Lowered the light since they're starting to stretch. As a result, PPFD went from 190 to 250, and DLI went from 12 to 16.

Looks like a good week. DG - Been praying every day SOG - Leaves getting some discoloration. Will monitor MBAP x I&B - A little droopy (overwatering?) but still the best one

Another good week. I added a 150W light in addition to the 100W already in there. Luckily, aside from slight light burn on MBAPxI&B, no issues. DLI 22, PPFD 350. DG is 22" from the 100W light, and the other two are 33" from the 150W light. I also removed the space heater since the new light is providing enough heat. Nights should cool down as a result. The spots on MBAPxI&B stopped, woohoo.

Everything's still going well. All 3 started showing white pistils, starting with MBAPxI&B on Day 23. Gave all nutes (25% strength) for the first time as well. PPFD 440, DLI 27. Day/night temp differential better without the space heater. Will probably set up the SOG screen next week. DG: 8" tall and 20" from 100W light. Prays the most by far, but where are the colas? SOG: 7" tall and 24" from 150W light. Did some leaf-tucking. Accidentally gave 125% nutes instead of 25%, but no issues. Put on 3" riser to match the other plants' PPFD & DLI MBAP x I&B: 10" tall and 24" from 150W light. This thing is a BEAST compared to the other two. LST on 2 colas, plus leaf-tucking.

Still going well. Increased light from 85% to 90% (100% is flowering program). Did a good amount of LST & defoliation as I get them stretched out for the trellis. I can't drop the temps going forward with the warming weather. DG: 550 PPFD, 36 DLI, 11" tall, 15" from 100W light. Only LST in 2 places and no defoliation. Not really impressed with this one SOG: 540 PPFD, 34 DLI, 10" tall, 20" from 150W light. MBAPxI&B: 560 PPFD, 37 DLI, 15" tall, 20" from light. Gave it flowering nutes for the first time. This sill amazes me and looks like it'll yield as much as the other 2 put together. It seems to constantly want water

Things not looking too good for 2 of the plants. Hoping it doesn't end up like my first run. A funky smell for the past couple of days (from overwatering #3?). Put in trellis net. Changed lighting to flowering program. VPD up to due to rising outdoor temperatures. DG: This one had the best week by far. Got frosty overnight, at D36, and the other two still have no frost 6 days later. Maybe it will yield the least but be the most potent. Gave bloom nutes for first time. 13" tall, 14" from 100W light, 575 PPFD, 37 DLI SOG: Bottom leaves starting to yellow and die off with rusty spots. Gave bloom nutes for first time. 11" tall, 20" from 150W light, 565 PPFD, 37 DLI MBAPxI&B: This has been droopy for about 10 days and I think it's overwatered I gave less in today's watering. Leaves also turning yellow and dying. 16" tall, 18" from 150W light, 600 PPFD, 39 DLI

2 of 3 got pretty bad, which I can only assume is underwatering and possibly underfeeding. Recently gave a lot of water, so hopefully next week will be better. I lowered the light a few inches. PPFD 700, DLI 45. Went back to veg/bloom nutes because of the yellowing DG: Luckily this one has minimal damage. Still becoming frosty. SOG: A lot of rusted and burnt off leaves MBAPxI&B: A ton of leaves lost, and it's been droopy for 2 weeks. Was so promising 2 weeks ago.

Looks like I may have turned a corner! Increasing the watering may have solved the issue, although leaves are still light. First time seeing runoff. Gave PH Down for the first time. I will give more nutes going forward because there may be a phosphorous deficiency. They stopped growing aside from SOG, which would make them shorter than the ILGM White Widows I grew last year. DG: 14" tall. PPFD 750, DLI 50. This thing is invincible. Frost sticky like glue SOG: 12" tall. PPFD 750, DLI 50. Pretty yellow but leaves stopped dying. More LST to expose lower green leaves. MBAPxI&B: 17" tall. PPFD 800, DLI 52. Droopy no more! Getting frosty quickly. Tips of top leaves started browning/curling for a couple days. Cut off all dead leaves.

Good week. The remaining issue is SOG still yellowing, but I hope to fix it this week. All plants have stopped growing vertically. Will keep DLI at 45 and PPFD at 700 since there may have been light burn. Temp & humidity went up due to the weather. DG: Started tacoing, which may be excess light or nutes. Raised the light and will flush for a week. Getting pretty thick and frosty down the main stem, and becoming more purple/red SOG: Nutes didn't fix the yellowing leaves, so I will give cal-mag next time MBAPxI&B: The recovery continues. Buds getting bigger and frosty throughout. Hopefully will get a good yield

Almost everything the same as last week. Just waiting for harvest for the most part. PH 7.4 (uncalibrated) for all plants means all 3 have similar PHs, so I doubt PH is why SOG seems to have lockout. DG: Still tacoing but looks great otherwise. Getting more purple and frostier, and is definitely the best-looking one SOG: Worsening, which I can only assume is from lockout. Cal-mag didn't help. I will only give water from now on. Buds small, but top turning purple quickly MBAPxI&B: Very frosty now, and lots of new white pistils which was a pleasant surprise. I'm giving nutes more often and still no burn (good resilience). Buds growing the fastest by far. This might be the last to harvest since I have to wait for so many pistils to turn orange now. Increased watering amount from 2.5L to 3.0L and now I get runoff every time. I removed the trellis for more light penetration, and luckily the branches stayed in place, so perhaps I can remove it earlier next time. Humidity increasing into the 60s but I'm not buying a dehumidifier at this point. Used a tape measure this time and heights are 0.5" higher than I thought. Moved plants around, so light distance changed. DG: This is virtually done and will probably be harvested in a week. 99+% of the pistils are orange. Gave it ILGM Plant Boost for the first time. 14.5" tall SOG: Flushing for 2 weeks didn't help the yellow leaves, so I guess it won't change. Main cola turning purple, and still some white pistils remain. 12.5" tall MBAPxI&B: Still putting out pistils, so it will probably be another month. Top leaves turning purple, but others are turning yellow so I may have to flush. Defoliated. 17.5" tall

I changed the light from 18/6 to 24/0 yesterday to prevent the humidity to shoot up to 75% overnight. Watering down to every 4 days. Slight smell now noticeable. DG: Only a couple of trichomes are amber so I will give it another week SOG: Looks unchanged from last week. Resin smells like ginger. Will try bloom boost since flushing and PH down haven't helped MBAPxI&B: Buds now have a white coating. Resin smells like a pineapple IPA beer

Good news is harvested DG as hoped, but I found green algae in runoff of all 3 plants, which probably existed for a couple of weeks due to overwatering. Ironically, the remaining 2 plants' leaves dried out badly. It must have been from waiting an extra (5th) day to water due to the algae. I just turned the lights back to 18/6 from 24/0 just in case. Light raised, now DLI 40 and PPFD 625. I didn't realize you're supposed to decrease the light near the end. I will chop if more leaves start burning. DG: Harvested, and will post weights and pics next week. However, I found what appear to be forming seeds, especially at the bottom. Other plants are unaffected. Drying in the closet, and keeping trim to make butter SOG: Pretty much all fan leaves crispy now. Buds turning maroon. Still some white pistils MBAPxI&B: Gave ILGM Plant boost for the first time. This was producing some nice maroon and lime green colors before the leaves burned but I don't have pics. Still some white pistils

There are still white pistils and clear trichomes, so another 2 weeks hopefully. I removed the 100W light and raised the 150W light, so DLI now 36, and PPFD 540. Smell is a little stronger despite having one less plant. Still curing the DG and burping daily. SOG: I pulled off as much dead leaf as possible to expose the live green ones. Put on a shoe box. MBAPxI&B: Fan leaves started dying again out of nowhere. Larfs becoming more purple, but other lower leaves yellowing.

I would have been happy with 20+ grams since the plant was only 14.5" high, and I ended up getting 30 potent grams, plus 13 grams in larfs & trim that I will turn into butter. Dried for 5 days with conditions being 70-75 temp and 50-55 humidity, and it was still pretty dry, so maybe the weight is a little light.

I screwed up another grow. I guess it's from underwatering, so I increased from 3.0L to 3.5L. Runoff went from green to yellow/gold. White pistils still coming out so I'm just going to assume another month, which is ridiculous for autoflowers. All 4 plants were harvested by now in my prior grow. SOG: Still removing as many dead leaves as possible. White pistils in multiple places, so I guess this will be the last one harvested. MBAPxI&B: All remaining leaves died rapidly.

Just waiting for white pistils and clear trichs to evolve. Increased watering again, which still leads to gold-color runoff. Temp & humidity keep going up. SOG: White pistils almost gone and trichs turning amber. Hoping for 2 more weeks. Watering went from 3.5L to 4.5L MBAPxI&B: Still a bunch of white pistils and clear trichs. Amber trichomes started showing on both plants so we're finally in the homestretch. I gave them both Plant Boost for the 2nd and final time. The top of the soil started turning green, but I guess it doesn't matter at this point. Top inch of pots gets dry after 5-6 days at this point. SOG: Still a good amount of white pistils. Bottom leaves started turning purple MBAPxI&B: Pistils 99% orange now. Hopefully harvesting in a week

Finally harvested after asking around. Will have weights and final results next week. Temp/humidity will be about 80/63 for drying. They're finally starting to smell like weed. I sampled both plants and they seemed good to me. Gnats showed up after I harvested SOG. but disappeared after a few days. SOG: Harvested day 121. Looks a lot better after cutting of the dead leaves. Yield will be a little more than I previously thought, and am hoping for close to 1.5oz MBAPxI&B: Harvested day 122. Buds seemed pretty dense/heavy. Cutting off leaves is taking forever, and I stop by every few hours to cut some more off. Yield will be a little less than I previously thought, and am hoping for 1.5-2.0oz

Was hoping for 2oz and ended up with 3oz (80g including what I previously sampled), wow! Dried for 11 days. Can't wait to see what happens next run with this strain.

60g including what I previously sampled. Very happy with the yield all things considered. I was thinking 1oz about a month ago. Plant recovered very nicely. Dried for 11 days. All 3 plants ended up with the exact 6oz I need to have a year's supply in one grow! Also have 16 grams of larfs/trim for edibles. Feels like a miracle considering I can still improve. Will take a break and do run #3 when the fall weather sets in.
