I'm going to transplant the indoor grow plants this week. The roots are peaking out of the bottom of the cups already. I've given them a tiny bit of fish fertilizer in their last watering and will be giving them a heavier dose when i transplant them. Between that and the mycorrhizae in the soil, I'm not expecting much if any transplant shock.
Update: went ahead and repotted the indoor grow. Gave them a heavy feeding of the fish emulsion.
Topped all but the mothers helper which is the front right fabric pot. The Mothers helper has 3 nodes with the 4th well on its way. I'll top it at the 5th node which will probably be another 5 days from now.
The jack hererier in the back left corner has really bulked up and took the topping in stride. The Savage Breath(front left) has done nearly as well. The popz purp (back right)seems to be trying to produce 4 main stems which would not hurt my feelings at all. The Grape ghost(middle) is still short and bushy but it looks like its finally getting over its topping. The Mothers Helper(front right) got topped a full week after the rest but seems to be doing fine. Next week i will start scrogging them.
Started the scrog today. Sadly i broke a main branch off both the jack hererier and the popz purp while bending them in the net. Ive probably been overwatering them. They both broke off right at the base of thenode. I topped all the branches as well. My goal is as many bud sites as possible.
Update: I noticed the next day that both the main branches have broken off the jack hererier sadly. Luckily that monster grows super fast so i think she'll recover super fast. Im going to top her an extra time in a few weeks to make up for the loss.
These are all getting over their toppings again. Another branch brokenoff the Jack Hererier (back left) while I was bending it down under the net. I think i overwatered and they need more silica in their regimen. Will start that soon. I'll probably flip them to flower by week 10 or 11.
Added another scrog net today. They've fully recovered from their last topping and I'm considering doing one more topping before flipping them to flower.
The stretch is on! So far the Savage Breath (front left) has stretched the most. I keep bending down branches to make up for it but I'm still running out of net space. Also the fan leaves are starting to get the faint shiny pinpricks that will eventually become trichomes.
The Savage Breath (front left) smells like sugar and diesel fuel, the Jack Hererier (back left) smells like skunk, the Grape Ghost(middle) smell faintly like sweet grapes, the Mothers Helper(front right)smell like citrus, and the Popz Purp smell like sweet lemon.
The smell and stickiness are awesome already. I can't defoliate at all without my arm and hands feeling like I coated them in maple syrup.
The smell is getting pretty strong already so I can't wait to see how they do by the time they finish.
These girls are coming along very nicely. My one and only complaint is a fly managed to get into my tent and land on a grape ghost bud before I could kill it. That same bud had some white mold on it a couple days ago. I took off all the effected buds then sprayed that area with trifecta crop control. So far no more signs of mold but I will keep very vigilant until harvest.
Doing some intermittent drought stress to boost thc and terpenes. These pics were taken right before watering them. The jack hererier is going to be harvested in 3 or 4 days. The Grape Ghost, SaVAge Breath, and Mother's Helper need 2 more weeks. The Popz Purp needs 3 more weeks.
