Im learning with this coco and the watering Im trying to improve this as I am allways over watering . She was deffo ready today as the leaves were wilting so shes had a good drink about 3 litres. The shogun nutrients seems to be amazing no deficiencies and super growth. I had too many plants in my tent so have reorganised everything to improve their health
Hi , Im not used to shogun nutrients if im honest the feed chart says to feed coco b in the vegetative stage this has lead me to feed with just coco a at this point. After doing a little research it appears both a+b should be used at this stage no wonder growth has been quite slow. I have also added the much needed zenzym which adds beneficial enzymes to the medium. I would have like to leave my plants in veg longer but am running out of time so their getting flipped to flower this weekend. My last blue gelato hermied which was very sad it could have been my fault from too much defoliation in the flower cycle. I'll leave them alone this time round
The girls are doing well and hopefully will close to finishing soon , the smell is strong like candy but not as strong as the zkittlez which is extremely pungent
Time to flush, I did too many plants this time wont do that again , the buds look a little stunted but hopefully they are ok. Might have let these go on longer but running out of time so flushing perhaps a little too early but nevermind I am sure I will get an idea of what the strain is like and wether or not to grow again
she's finally coming to an end and I am looking forward to a rest these plant really do take alot of looking after especially when you get greedy and pop too many seeds. I had to purchase an extra tent to solve my overcrowding situation and Im not doing 3 photos in a 4x2 again . Once the pots are all watered it creates too much humidity not good at this late stage of flowering . Anyway I've had good airflow so fingers crosssed we are free of mold come chop time. She has not looked all that great throughout the grow maybe I had a nutrient lockout. The leaves have looked dry and leathery but hey ho aslong as the buds are ok who cares !!
Its been a decent run for a change , I don't believe anything has gone too wrong no hermies !!!!, I have managed to finish off animal cookies x gorilla glue, blue gelato 41 and runtz layer cake. I will be growing again in the autumn in fabric pots this time and with a decent amount of perlite mixed into the coco maybe 50% . I have inspected the roots on all five plants and it wasn't lovely and white and thick so I know there are improvements to be made. I think the plastic pots retain too much moisture and make it difficult for the roots to breath. So its back to fabric pots. In the autmn Im probably going to grow fast flowering phots by fast buds, I am hoping no issues with these as others have had problems towards the end with nanas.
This is a decent strain, I vaped a little last night and it was nice. I grew in coco straight which was ok but after examining the roots they were not as healthy as I would have liked. Next time i will be adding clay balls and 40-50% perlite, i may have to water mopre often but if I get healthier roots that will make me happier
All in all a decent plant but 3 photos in a 4x2 is too much , won't do that again the humidity gets too high once the plants have been watered then your sucking the moisture out whilst the heater is on too much. So I wont be greedy next time. In the autumn ill be doing two autos plus cbd blue shark did this last year but it got over fertilised in the autopots and didn't recover so it got lobbed in the compost bin. It is supposed to be a cracking strian so its getting done again fingers crossed !!
@Lemonhazelover, cheers the one on the left is blackberry kush feminised my mate gave me 5 free seeds it seems a strong plant im very impressed with it so far
