Glass of water into a paper towel. I inadvertently destroyed one of the RHC cookie seeds. Beyond that, they all look like they are off to a good start.
these babies are growing quickly - one of the blue gelato plants has either damped out (which I don't believe, but will wait to see) or just fell sideways and will reanchor and grow up to the lights - gonna give it the weekend to see how things go with it. So far it remains cold at night and chilly during the day forcing me to use heaters to keep it above 70 but at night it tends to drop about 4-5 degrees.
I couldn't find a date to change this to last Thursday to keep the weeks in order, but for purposes of timing, the date of the pics are April 9 or April 11.
Topped and removed the four largest leaves from the bottom. Each one recovered extremely well. I was going to wait and flip these guys on about May 1, but I may ceremoniously do it on Saturday, the 20th.
Flipped these guys on Wednesday. The leaves keep growing large and heavy - had to take them off twice over the last week as I prepped for flowing. Time to monitor and just make sure the canopy is getting pierced enough so light is either reaching smalller buds or I willl do a little extreme defoliating next week and then let them go - to be determined.
It's May and the girls seem to be doing great - the canopy is uniform. I did defoliate one last time on Tuesday knowing this would be the last I would snip before harvest. That being said, I am watching closely, I think I trimmed each correctly and all are behaving uniformly. We have a little bit of above average heat which is driving the temps up. Added another fan this week.
Here we are two weeks later and I apologize for missing the one week. I tried to kill them last week by missing a watering without even thinking - you can see the wilted picture from last Sunday when I caught myself.
The next picture is two days later and Mother Nature finds a way. They have been. stretching and are over 3 feet tall - I posted a pic of my retrofitted tent with the light that goes through the top. I just raised it to where the intake and out take for the ballast will need to be covered tonight.
I had to turn the light down a notch this week as I can't take it any higher.
It seems like the leaves have stopped burning, so I am letting these guys settle in nicely. The buds are really starting to fatten up, crazy - I looked close to make sure they hadn't harmed out or developed seeds but they were just fine and getting bigger. Not much going on now that I have them back on the watering and feeding schedule they need. Patience is what it will take now.
