She's looking healthy. Grew a few inches. Will continue to use the FF feeding schedule. Was thinking about topping her in a few days. Day 18: LST

I have a few autos (see diaries) 17 days old. Should I top? If so, when? Thanks in advance!

The overall consensus is to not top autoflowers. High stress training is not reccomended due to the very short window of vegetative stage. You want to push as much growth as you can. Topping is a way to limit growth and direct energy to lower branches which is not needed for autoflowers. Your best bet is to start LST (Low Stress Training) your plant. Do this by pulling down the top of the plant enough to even put the canopy. This will allow the lower branches more light and you will have many main colas growing. It’s a very good way to increase your yield. During week 3-4 on my autos, I’m constantly pulling down my plant and branches to keep an even canopy and it looks like I’ll have about a dozen main branches on each autoflower. I hope this helps.

Let's just say my Trainwreck had a train wreck! Breaking the main stem off clearly slowed her down a bit but this is definitely her last week of veg yall! I'm going to take someone's advice and sit back, s a blunt, chill and see what she does. Looking back to weeks 1 and 2, my plants have had considerable growth in a month! After 30 days a few things I've learned: 1. Be patient (I was rushing the magic) 2. Be gentle (my heavy hands led to a few breaks) 3. Be brave (I was scared that the amount of fertilizer suggested would burn them, but nope). As always, I'm up for any suggestions from my fellow growers! I look forward to growing as a grower lol.

After a little set back (I broke the main branch off), she's bouncing back nicely under the circumstances. Flowers are developing , leaves look rather healthy, and she's responding to feeding well. Although I don't see a large yield coming from this girl, she's not disappointing!

What can I say about trainwreck! It has bounced back from a full beeheading and It actually grew another main cola who's thickest section is about 8 1/2 inches in diameter! What a resilient little mama. The buds are super thick and getting frosty. I feel like she's just about ready. I am going to flush her this week and next and see what we get. Stay tuned...

After a comeback, the train is in the station! Even though I broke the main stem, she was an easy grow. I just basically let her do her with great results. Buds are thick and dense. Time for the drying and curing.
