Put 3 beans in a moist paper towel inside a sandwich bag, only 2 grew taps. Placed into coco (reused, but washed) in seedling trays under a dome in the veg tent. Will xfer to solo cups after the roots pop through the bottom of the trays. I'll gradually be upping them into 6.6g autopots for flower.
Nothing to report other than moving from the seeding trays into solo cups with fresh coco and a little bit of perlite. Also sprinkled some great white onto the roots during xplant.
Poked 5 holes on the bottom of each cup and the cups straddle the grooves in the tray. I try to keep the grooves in the tray filled with water to help keep humidity up and a bit more to let the girls buttchug. Moistened the toplayer with a recharge, silica and calmag mix. .
Stepped up to solo cups. Will go to 1g and then into the 6g autopots for flower.
These girls dont look much like siblings.
Nothing else to do this week bit wait.
Just making sure the ladies stay hydrated. I'm thinking of moving them to 1-gallon pots this week. After that, I'll probably veg them for another 2-3 weeks before transplanting them into the final 6.6-gallon Autopots. I wasn't a big fan of this strain the last time I grew it, but I had some heat issues then, so maybe it'll be better this time.
Uppotted the ladies to 1g pots . I'll give about a 10 days and then into the autopots. Gonna try out canna 2 part for flower. Not a lot else to report with them at this point. Also threw some veggie seeds in the tent to get ready for my new greenhouse, once finished.
Loving the structures on these girls, though seemingly different. One topped herself naturally and is quite bushy. The other is a bit stretchier. Tried to tie her down with some wire to spread her out a bit and snapped off a bottom arm. Def big enough to try and root out so into a solo cup it went. Pulled down a few side branches to open up and she is just a happy girl. Topped and took some bigger fan leaves from both girls on 4/20 and we'll be heading into the autopots later this week.
Transplanted to everyone into the Autopot XL system and will continue to top water for the next week to let the roots spread out. I remember white widow being a very vigorous grower and these two seem to be fitting right in with that. Did some light defoliation and will start LST, tying down some of the outer branches, as soon as they stretch a little more. Also starting to stink that heavenly stank so it may time to think about a new carbon filter. I exhaust outside so its really not a big deal unless the neighbors are having company. Happy growing!
Both girls happy in the autopots and getting ready to go to flower next week. Defoliated the fan leaves growing toward the center and stripped leaves and branches from the lower third of the branches.
Got my first scrog netting installed just before flipping to flower a few days ago. Both girls are happy, healthy, and really bushing out nicely. Will leave them go during the next 3 weeks of stretch other than putting up the 2nd scrog and plucking big fannies here and there. Nice defol planned afterward.
Beginning week 2 of stretch and it's bothering me how much I need to get in there and clean up the lower branches that would probably just be larf. I don't want to do any major defol for about 2 more weeks when they go full bore bud development. Happy
One more week of stretch for the widows and they are both happy, healthy and praying to the HLG600 RSPEC daily. Just going to let them do their thing again this week before a big trim and defol so full on bud stacking can begin. The smell is starting to get loud, maybe indicating that my carbon filter needs replacing. Happy growing y'all!
Everyone is looking great as we finish up the third week of stretch. Did a nice clean up of the lower canopy and both girls are starting to give off that classic widow smell. Open the lights to eighty percent as we head into heavy flower.
Happy growing.
Both girls took very well to the major defoliation last week and are praying hard everyday. The cabopy is starting to spiral and stack up nicely, especially for week 4 of flower. Just following my canna a and b feeding schedule from here on in and doing little else but waiting for them to finish up. Happy growing y'all.
Keeping this run as simple as possible. Could have filled out the tent a bit more with some additional topping in veg but I'm more about quality than quantity. Not a whole lot to do but pluck random fans that are shadowing bud sites. Nice smack to the nose whenever I open the tent visit these ladies. I could probably finish this run up without opening the tent again. The autopots really do take a lot of work out of the equation. Almost too much. Happy growing y'all!
D42 of flower. Def on autopilot now. I only opened the tent once this week to for light topwater with some recharge and the smell knocked me in the nostrils pretty hard. This autopot setup makes it almost too hands off. It's great for when I leave town
though so def will continue this route. Thinking about dosing with some winter frost later this week but wondering if flushing is necessary with autopots. Happy growing!
This is the slowest part of the grow for me, just waiting for the girls to plump up. Gave them winter frost a few days ago and will cut food off in the coming week. The smell is definately overwhelming the aging carbon filter and I'm starting to get side eye from my life boss. Happy growing y'all.
One last dose of winter frost into the res and nothing but pure water from here on out. Starting to get some amber trichs so I'm guessing 7-10 more days, but I usually check with the loupe daily. Plucked a few nanners from one of the girls but I'm not too concerned this late in flower. Happy growing ya'll!
