As many of you know Germany recently passed the legalisation law for Cannabis allowing three plants per person and 50g in total for people over 21 years of age. So I decided to run my first grow ever with three Autos. If all four sprout, I will get rid of the weakest NL. Soaked and sprayed them with warm distilled water and they are now hopefully germinating under my GC4 with about 40cm distance with only germination light on. I tested the DLI under the dome, according to Photone App they should have 12 DLI with that distance. Wish me luck! Update: Four days later finally all four seeds sprouted! Fastest one and currently biggest is the Critical, then Northern Lights, then the Runtz and finally the other Northern Lights. I couldn't be happier with the Seedling process. I think I'll wait two more days and then I'll transplant them into their final Pots. Next update: I saw that the Critical Auto already grew its root through the Jiffy so I decided to repot them into their final pot already. I made my first small mistake by ripping a bit of said root off while removing the net. Hopefully it won't cause major problems. I potted all three into 8L fabric pots with about 2,5kg of Biobizz Light Mix soil each. I sprinkled some mykorrhiza fungi into the hole to increase root grow and watered each of them with about 150ml distilled water. I now turned the full spectrum light on and set the height of the lamp so that they'll have about 16 DLI, about 90cm. I turned on the small clip fan on smallest speed so that they have indirect air circulation. I poured water on the tent floor to increase humidity and set the thermostat so that the AC infinity Cloudline T4 starts sucking air out of the tent when it reaches 71% relative humidity. That should achieve a nice environment for my three little babies. Let's hope for the best and prepare for the worst! Last update: I watered all of them with 100ml ph optimized 5.4 tap water on 6th day after starting, the biggest Flower is still the Critical with 8cm height and now four visible small fanleaves. Very satisfied!

Update day 8: First week veg is starting and everything looks good from my perspective. Temperature and humidity is in its ideal range and the plants don't seem to have any issues so far. Although the Northern Lights should be the tallest of all three, she is the smallest in my run. Very interesting observation. The GC4 light is now on veg mode turned on. Update day 9: I watered the plants with 200ml ph regulated (6.4) tapwater each. I also filled the fabric pot of the Runtz Auto to have the same level as the other two. Update day 12: Nothing interesting happend, other than the Critical being a little crooked, I pushed the soil on one side in to make her stand upright again. Gonna water them tomorrow morning. Update day 13: I watered the plants with 200ml ph regulated water (about 6.4) each, I waited almost full 4 days to let the soil drain completely to measure the weight of the dry soil. It's 2428g for the Critical, 2312g for the Northern Lights and 2503g for the Runtz. I think every three days is suitable for them for now as some leafs show a little bit of signs that they are too dry. Update day 14: Review of first veg week: apart from the odd looking leaf of the Northern Lights on day 11 and the slight dry signs of the Runtz on day 13 everything went flawless. Looking forward to week 2 of vegetation.

Update day 15: Because of the weather and the lack of climatisation, I switched the 6 hours of darkness to 2pm-8pm, that should achieve lower temperatures in the tent. I also lowered the light to have approximately 20 DLI. Later the day after the 6h darkness period I gave the ladies their first feeding with Biobizz Grow, 1ml/L, half of the recommended dosage because they are Autos and don't need that much. 250ml per plant. I also performed my first LST on the 12cm tall Critical because she starts to show signs of side branch development. Let's see how she likes it. Update day 16: I adjusted the LST a bit and added another wire to tie away a fan leaf so that the lower branches get more light, tucking the leaf away didnt work as I wanted it to. Update day 17: I watered them with 300ml ph regulated water without fertilizers. They drink pretty good, the soil was dry 2cm in every pot. I really want to avoid overwatering. I will up the water intake gradually so that I'll end up at 800ml per pot at the end of vegetation. Update day 18: I performed LST on both the Runtz and Northern Lights. Let's see whether they like it as good as the Critical. Update day 19: The leaves of the Runtz on top are looking a bit droopy, after feeling the soil she is the only one being moist 3cm under the surface, so I will give her just a light spray tomorrow and the other two a light watering without fertilizers. Hope she recovers and it's nothing too serious. Also adjusted the LST wires, on the Critical its paying of already, good side branch development and growth of more leaves. Update day 20: Due to the overwatering of the Runtz and my caution I all spritzed them with ph neutral water instead of watering them properly. The Runtz seems to come back quick from the overwatering. Very fortunate. Update day 21: I gave the Critical and the Northern Light a watering with 100ml fertilized water, still 1ml/L Grow and the still a little bit droopy looking Runtz a spray with water. I removed and adjusted every LST wire and tucked some leaves to expose more lower canopy. Review week 2 veg: I almost couldn't be happier with how things went, all three plants got so many new leaves and side branches, no signs of pest or malnutrition except for the Runtz being a little overwatered. They all responded awesome to the LST and grew substantially. I'm so stocked for week three veg and preflower, I really wanna push the limits of those great looking ladies. Fingers crossed!

Update day 22: Start of week 3 veg! The Runtz Auto is still suffering from her overwatering but didn't stop producing new leaves, so not that bad. I just did leaf tucking and nothing more. Let's hope for the drooping to disappear over the next days. Update day 23: I adjusted the LST, the Critical has so many new branches seeking light, I'm hyped! Update day 24: After the 6 day dry period due to overwatering I slowly introduced 100ml fertilized water to the Runtz Auto, 1mg/L Biobizz Grow. I also watered the other two with 200ml each of the same fertilized water. I will later adjust and/or tuck some leaves. Update day 25: Still LSTing the plant, bekamen almost like a daily ritual. The Northern Light and the Critical seem to transition into preflower, let's hope they are all strong females. Update day 28: My first major issues appeared. The plants are first of all underwatered because I waited four days till watering due to me being two days away, that's also the reason day 27 update on the pictures is missing. I now watered them with tap water with 6.4 ph, 300ml each. Second of all, some older lower leaves are looking pale and some of the have brown spots on them. Could be cal or mag deficiency. The pale looking leaves could be nitrogen deficiency, as it only concern lower older leaves. I will wait for tomorrow or in two days to see what problems were caused by the underwatering. I will nonetheless go and buy calmag in case the symptoms are worsening. They are all now showing flowering signs and they luckily seem all to be proud females. I'm also glad none of them show nutrient burn signs, so my half dosage fertilizer strategy is working out so far. I will pause on training until they stop looking brittle. Next week is going to be the first flower week in my diary!

one old leaf at the bottom? If isolated, i'd ignore it.. a plant does shed a leaf on occasion.

Update day 29: They recovered fast from their underwatering, which checks out with the experiences of other growers. I'm unsure whether I should intervene with the deficiency as it's only concerning a few and only lower older leaves. I added the flower mode of my light, they now have about 40 DLI at 40cm distance to the top canopy. The biggest Runtz is now almost 20cm tall and should now begin the flower stretch. Next watering they'll get the full grow/bloom/top max fertilizer from Biobizz with still half of the recommended dosage. I did remove every LST wire and trained them once again. Update day 30: I measured the weight of the pots and they drank almost all of the last watering so I gave them another 300ml each, this time with Grow, Bloom and Top Max half the scheme. They show signs of underfeeding so I hope they bounce back quick after this watering. I probably will water them with calmag next watering because I see few rust dots on the leaves. Not many that's why I wait for the next watering. Update day 31: Very happy with how they look! I adjusted the LST wires again and they are so wide spread, if I wouldn't want to take them out regularly I would actually try to scrog them. So far I'm gonna leave them how they are and let them continue the bloom stretch. Hopefully they stretch good and deliver some beautiful flower sides! Update day 32: Had to get rid of the Runtz, turned out to be a hermaphrodite. What an annoying shit. 32 days of care down the drain because of some weak ass genetics. A stable genetic would never turn hermaphrodite because of a few days of overwater stress. Let's pray to the 420 gods the other two didn't get in touch with the pollen. Otherwise I'll lose almost all of my yield. What a shit day. Update day 33: I watered both of them with 400ml 6.2 ph water. I tested the runoff of the Critical Auto, seems like its a little too basic with 6.6 ph. Will steer against that next watering with 6.0 ph water. She also has a little bit of burnt tips on top, it looks like a bit light stress, so I lifted the light a few cm. They both look good except for a bit hanging leaves due to the need of watering. Should be normal tomorrow. Update day 34: Already looking good again, really only small signs of stress/deficiencies, nothing to worry. LST again, cut some dried up leaves from the plants. I count 11 prime budsights on the Critical and 9 on the Northern Lights. If they all grow only 10-15cm more, I will have a decent yield hopefully. Update day 35: Although the weight of the pots is lower than when I dry weighted them last time, soil is moist at the top. Very odd. Will wait at least till tomorrow for the next watering. Review first week flower: Worst week so far due to the loss of the Runtz Auto. The others grew substantially spreading across the whole pot. That's the upside. I'm still hoping for a major stretch because the top buds aren't really substantially increasing in size. Hope that will change in the next weeks. Think I gonna lollipopp them at the end of next week or when the flower stretch ends.

Update day 36: Watered them with half a liter each with more Grow and Bloom fertilizer as some leaves are turning yellow indicating lack of nitrogen. Ph 6.1 to combat basic runoff I tested. Update day 39: I was away for three days and the plants both show signs of underfeeding/nutrient lock by wilting old leaves and turning yellow. I measured the soil PH and the Critical was a perfect 6.3 and the Northern Light 6.6. So I decided to water them again with nutrients half the dosage as I can now tell that they dont have a nutrient lock. Both with 6.2 ph water. Both 800ml, so 10% of the potweight. Hope they turn green again and grow larger. Update day 41: I spotted a magnesium deficiency on both plants, on the Runtz it's more advanced. I don't know whether I can treat it with calmag. Will ask a question. The Critical also starts to smell a bit. Very beautiful. Update day 42: I treated both plants with 1.5ml/l calmag with 400ml 6.3 ph water. Hopefully they recover from their magnesium deficiency.

Update day 43: Start of third flower week and 7th week overall. I lollipopped the Critical and cut away lower bud stems and fan leaves blocking budsites. Think I did a good job and didn't overdo it. Update day 45: I watered both with 800ml 6.3 ph water and CalMag, Grow, Bloom and Topmax. They seem to bounce back from underfeeding. Update day 46: Minor LST on the Northern Lights. She's very green in comparison to the Critical. Update day 48: Due to minor nutrient burn I just watered with 800ml of ph regulated 6.2/6.3 water each and 0.5/L CalMag.

Lilkey the first sign of mild nutrient burning. Best to back off till it's a bit bigger to handle that concentration in your feeding solution. Nothing to worry about not that you have caught it and will adress it.

Update day 50: I finally also lollipopped the Northern Lights. She had more leaves and small underdeveloped budsites to be removed as she was way bushier than the Critical. Let's see if she responds as good as her. Update day 51: Due to the unknown state of the Critical (burnt? Nutrient deficit?)I backed up on fertilizer and watered them with 6.2/6.3 ph water 800ml each and 1.5ml/L Grow/Bloom and 0.5ml/L CalMag/Topmax. Update day 55: I waited a day to long to water them and they're not happy. Luckily they should recover till tomorrow. I watered them with 1L each of only 6.3 PH water.

Update day 58: The Critical is more and more wilting and I'm pretty clueless why. Does she need that much more nutrients or is she just nutrient locked? Latter shouldn't be it normally because I tested the soil and it was in normal range. I don't know what I'm gonna do now. Maybe flush it once and then feed it with the full scheme. Update day 59: I watered the Critical with 3ml Grow, 2ml Bloom and 1ml Topmax. 900ml 6.3 PH. The Northern Lights only with water 900ml 6.3. PH. The Critical is getting darker trichomes so I guess it's only a few days till harvest. I hope for fatter buds but we'll see. Update day 63: I watered the Crititcal and the NL with 900ml PH 6.3 water 3ml Grow, 2ml Bloom and 1.5 TopMax for the Critical and 1 for the NL. The buds of the Critical are swelling and smelling really intense. Trichomes tell me its soon to be harvested.

Update day 69 (nice): Harvest day! I checked the trichomes yesterday and most of them were amber so I decided to harvest today. Smell is beautifully fresh and it turned out a nice little cannabis bouquet 💐 Wet weight is 105g so I'm at least expecting 15 grams. I chopped its branches and put them to dry into the Herbdryer. Let's see how she dries. It took 8 days in the Herbdryer to fully dry, the buds were kinda loose, don't know how I could've improved that. Anyway over 18g trimmed bud is a decent result for my first grow.

I did it! It's done, I harvested last week with a wet weight of 108g and a final trimmed dry weight of 19,29g! It smelled beautifully fresh and citrusy, the buds are all pretty loose, I don't know what I should've done differently tbh. I'm happy for my first time, 2/3 survived and gave me close to 40g harvest. Next grow will be photoperiodic in 11L pots. Let's see how that'll go!
