First seed, Auto Mazar, will be hooked up to a continuous flow system with a separate nutrition bucket being used to alternate the nutrients along with oxygen being added via air stone.
Germination has taken root and now nutrients are being pumped in, once the roots to pop through the rapid rooter plugs we will transfer into the self watering system.
What a wonderful week of growth and flowering! been watering twice a day at 250ml per watering session, usually morning and evening.
Not being able to plug in a humidifier has resulted in me misting twice a day as well.
Three weeks of heavy blooming and sensing budding coming up, preparing enough water for the entire cycle. Moved the lights back as the internodal spacing was becoming an issue while sculpting.
Any suggesting on how to manage ppms would be appreciated.
This bugger neatly drank 3L of the solution I had prepared for three weeks!! there some serious growth happening. Defoliation was a good idea at this point to reduce the amount of wasted nutrients and increase the flowering priority.
Had to share the last "video" to show my appreciation in learning about LST here on growdiaries, those are pepper plants.
A friend had a chance to take some photos for me, also continued with some defoliation as well. Nutrients are doing well, hopefully buds really take off this week.
Shes looking good and has solid branches it seems. You have the nutrition down and the plant looks healthy all comes down to your light output now, what are you running?
👍 watch your PPMs, my autos took a hit this past week. I was shooting 700ppm which most plant didnt take very well. Hopefully you dont incur the same issue.
The bulbs are LED. looking into a good deal on HPS, any recommendations? Was also thinking of adding on some additional lights that came in, would be about 200w on top making it 600w.
LST is definitely recommended at the beginning of week 3, thinking of moving the lights further away next time to increase intermodal space for anchoring.
