This setup has turned out to be quite impressive, which makes me think I should have opted for more feminized seeds from the start. Nonetheless, I'm excited to begin cultivating two new strains. The plant in the 7-gallon pot is doing exceptionally well to topping and is outpacing its 5-gallon counterpart. I've taken two clones from each plant; despite the rough handling, 3 out of 4 are doing great.
Also topped the 7-gallon pot with some soil.
I'm particularly impressed with their growth despite receiving less direct sunlight. I haven't been bringing them indoors, yet they are growing faster than the autoflowers I started at the same time. As the end of the season approaches, I'm optimistic about their potential size, especially since planting started in early April.
Happy Growing.
@birdmountain, It looks like we're both going with Euforia too.
Germination tray idea was helpful from your diary IDK how I missed it; better than managing small cups.
Happy growing and keep sharing your progress too. 🌱✌️
@Ivatt90, Hey! I simply took a small node that seemed big enough and placed it in small cups. All you need to do is water them every day and avoid trimming the branches too short. From what I've seen in YouTube videos, a slight trim is important but otherwise, they do quite well just leave them on their own for 3 weeks or so.
Out of seven, six survived and I repotted three of them today. The root system they developed was incredible. I'll definitely share pictures of the other three next week. To be honest, I experimented with basil and mint using the same methods, and they were fast and robust. Don't worry, you can go ahead after week 4 but make sure to check out some YouTube videos first.
