Magic Mikes Meds Fall/Winter 2018 Grow

This was the 2nd full week of vegetation in the Deep Water 💦 Culture room under the 900 watt “Fatty” created for me by Timber Grow Lights. The PPM’s in the reservoir has been between 380 - 420 which is a little bit high for 2 weeks into Veg, however, the plants are not showing any signs of nutrient burn. I am running JR Peters Jacks powdered nutrients at 30% strength and if you look in the nutrient section of this post the amount of Epsom Salts, Jacks Hydroponic, and the Jacks Calcium Nitrate are all listed in Grams per 5 gallons because I make my nutrients in 5 gallon batches. So, for week 2 of Veg I used 4.5 grams of Jacks Hydroponic 5-12-26 per 5 gallons, 2.7 grams of Jacks Hydroponic Calcium Nitrate per 5 gallons, and 1.5 grams of Epsom Salts per 5 gallons. The ladies are doing tremendously well and growing with a vigor that I have not seen yet in the garden. I had to leave town for 4 days, and upon my return the ladies had more than doubled in my absence. I plan to begin my topping and training in the next week, which will probably push my Veg to around 6 weeks in order to properly build my canopy. I will also be installing tomato 🍅cages next week for support for instead of the scrog net which I used (& hated) last round. “Keep it Safe, Keep It Green, & Smoke 💨 It Up!!!”
