Replanted’em to bigger pots (~55 litres)
LSTed
I’m going to top them for the 2nd time probably on the weekend.

End of the week:
One of the plants seems to be stressed with curly claw leaves and deep green color. Might be nitrogen toxicity. I guess I’m overfeeding them. Will skip nutrients for the next couple of waterings and then switch to 1:1 or 2:1 schedule
Also next time I should top earlier and prune earlier as well, probably limit to 8 colas
The timer didn’t work, so I figured out I was running 24/0 instead of expected 12/12. So flowering started May, 2. Little bit late, so I would expect them to get long.
Today 07/05 I’ve done a very light defoliation of the lower fan leaves
The situation with nitrogen toxicity seems to grt
At harvest time, the buds are quite crispy and dry because I stopped watering them weeks earlier. Next time, I won’t dry them in the pots, as it makes trimming harder and affects achieving the desired humidity level of the product.
Considering that I ran out of stock long before the harvest and had to ruthlessly cut branches with buds from all the growing plants, the final results are as follows:
• Plant 1: 136g of dry buds (~50% humidity). This plant was on the left and was minimally pruned or defoliated.
• Plant 2: 160g of dry buds. This plant was in the centre. It had a week advantage over the other two, so it grew taller. As the buds were heavy, I had to support the branches with strings. It was the most pruned and defoliated of all.
• Plant 3: 122g of dry buds. Plant on the right. This plant was somewhere in between, with medium pruning.
Conclusions: Next time, all saplings should be removed before switching to the flowering stage. Only the planned number (N) of colas should be left, with no other branches, as they tend to be underdeveloped anyway. Switch should probably happen once they're 40-50cm high. I will try different numbers of colas—12, 14, 16, and 18—of the same strain and compare the results.
