Hattiwatti Lets try to grow some tobacco and cure it somehow. Dont know anymore wich are what but maybe it can be seen when they grow up. Planted Half and half. In one pot seems to be two plants. Maybe good or not.
Replanted yesterday to 1L pots.
These propably go outside when weather gets better. Or i make new ones for outside and let these grow inside.

Hattiwatti "Hey, Mr. Marlboro Man, make a rollup for me
I'm not sleepy and there is no tobacco I'm smoking too"
Growing nicely. Watered couple off them with organic nutrients.
Raised bed is proximately 100liters. Going to plant these 7 bigger ones in it maybe in couple weeks when its not getting - degrees at night anymore. Good way to get rid of old soils btw.
Smaller ones are coming nicely.
Should separate them this week.
Going to make another bed and try to put some off them straight to there.

Hattiwatti Hello Horses π΄
Not that much to write. Moving these out in a couple of days. They need nitrogen. Feed that one and it gets instantly greener. Hope others get nutrients from the new soil. A couple of nights with temps still close to zero, but after that it's +6 at night and close to 20 during the day. Carrying these out for a couple of days to get used to it.
13.5 first day outside. "White" sheet covering direct light if the sun is shining. Still in pots so can be lifted inside for the night. 30 mins after going outside and the first small rain hits.
13.5 later that day. Planted them outside. +19 now +10 at the next night. Mykor for 3 of them. Let's see how these survive.

Hattiwatti Good night everybody.
Did some midnight photoshooting with tobaccos. Not that dark at all.
Tobaccos are bouncing back. Double planted did take cover from each others and didnt get that much damage.
New line is getting out at 10.6 and stay under sheet for first week. Have to get use to real sun.
8.6 Dead ones looking good and new raised bed fixed for new line. Because first time we fail its time to double size of bed. Aprox. 220L of soil. Still couple days inside and then its time for them to meet final destination.

Long time no see.
10.6 Oldies doing their thing and 6 New Liners are now out. 1 is still waiting to get a new home.
Did that chicken home for them to make it easier cover for the first week with a sheet and after that if the gods get angry and decide to throw something shit from the sky. Roots were white and healthy looking.
Going to buy a humidity meter for soil and hit it there. These raised beds seem to get dry pretty fast.

Hattiwatti Hello
Week went fast. Uncovered new liners and Princess for full sun. Growing nicely. The youngest ones took a bit hit from the sun at the beginning. Not that worried. Next week probably growing better.
Been rainy and sunny. First feeding coming when beds get dry. Night temperatures around 12Β°c. Nice how these plants gather all leaves together at night to keep warm inside. Iβll add a photo later if it happens.

Hattiwatti Hello π
Not that much to tell. The old ones are reaching for the sky and the new liners are coming in nicely a little bit behind. The trunks are starting to get pretty hefty on the older ones. And the biggest leaves look awesome.
A lot of rain and sun last week. The new liners took the heavy rains a bit hard, but nothing to worry about.
4.7 planted a couple of new liners in the "guerilla" bed. These are leftovers, so why not try to get a couple of leaves from them? Now in the tent for a week or more. Watered the older beds both with 1.2ec, 20 liters.

Hattiwatti Hello mista Marlboro π΄
Sunny, Windy and rains.
The old ones started growing sucker leaves. Have to remove them so they won't use energy from the main leaves. 90cm high and leaves around 50cm long. Almost can taste that smoke in my mind already. Couching in my brains also π€£
And doubles seem to grow too. Didn't even remember there were doubles π€£ time to smoke more.
New liners are coming along nicely and going to shoot soon. More space. More soil. No freezing. Nice to compare with the old ones to see if there's a big difference.
Guerillas still hanging in the tent. A couple more days and it's time to meet nature at its best and worst. Not even sure if these have time to grow before winter. Better growing than in the trash bin.
Giving grow nutrients to the old ones and new liners now and then. Watering also when leaf tips start to wilt. Nice indicator.

Hattiwatti Hello Mista Marlboro π¦
Tobaccos start to bloom this week so it's time to cut them out. Or snap. Left flowers for the biggest plant so we see also how it produces seeds. Same destiny for sucker leaves. Watering oldest last time with nutrients.
Test crop is done. Just oldest and lowest leaves from shadow that won't produce anything anyways. Hanging on my wood shed now. Excited π

Hattiwatti Hello π΄
Tobaccos growing, flowering and drying nicely. Pretty huge plant now with flower head. Humidity has been between 45 to 80 in wood shed and leaves drying slowly. Smallest ones were already dry so I put them in the jar with 62% bovedas. In a couple of days I'm going to taste it π¬

Hattiwatti Hello π
Basically nothing happened in a month.
Harvested a lot of leaves yesterday and the best leaves are still ripening. Shirley leaves feel a lot thicker than Virginia gold.
Princess died from lack of nutrients.
The flower is huge and going to produce a lot of seeds.
The wood shed was too wet for drying tobacco. Moved in π
With smoky hopes π€
@Still_Smoq, thanks. Atleast not dead π€£ doing pretty fine . Hope those old ones doesnt like bad when new liners settle for neighbour. Ofcourse house is double size and grass is greener π
'The new line' looks pristine!
Those lower leaves will make excellent wrappers in some months if you intend to make some cigars, and the damaged ones you can just dry, cure and hide inside the cigar πππ¨.
@MalumProhibitum, and what comes to new line i think pristine is right Word to descripe them. First roots grow out from pot couple days ago and they are getting almost 24h light in day for next month. I think they going to love it.
See you when these are safely in ground.
@Nofeckingclue79, its same plant but they have many strains for cigar. And not stupid question at all. Not that long time ago i was asking same question.
Eff you Mr Marlboro. Stupid chemicals and stupid making me pay like 7 bux a pack to kms.
Also LOL they are so cute. Only difference I see really is sizes
@Hattiwatti, 13? Holy shit. Thatβs insane. And ohhh youβre right- I do see some with round and some points. Good lookin out. I better up my game. Maybe it will be even more so next week. Donβt let us down babies π¬.
@Rangaku, i get 50-60 for 14 when i roll. Still pretty expensive. Not smoking that much tobacco now a days. Prefer something more Green. At the morning is nice to wake up slowly, take cup of coffee, sit down to coach at garage and light up tobacco. That instant feeling inside you when them both hit and youre already running to the toilet is perfect π€£
@@CRANKSTER_420, thanks. Purple virginia π€£π€£π€£π€£ lets see if next ones lives little bit longer at outside.
Ps. Im still going to get seeds and one gig from these.
... you actually killed it. I tried growing tocacco one, too. Wasn't a success either ... . What type is it? Virginia? You've actually written it on top of the report. TY.
Putted some of my tabacco plants too early outside, gotten eaten by birds and snails mostly. Still got some left behind also virginia:).. GL with your growth :)
Looking amazing, but since you raising one of your other posts looked into the drying process of tobacco and it is a proper art form isn't it so good look and I wish you all the best ππ
@Nofeckingclue79,i think its a same plants. Almost died for cold.
yep drying is big part of tobacco and cannabis. It opens whole new world when you can cure properly.
chicken wire? wild life been chewin the t'baccy? lol
if this works we'll be following your lead. twenty bucks for a pack of smokes is brutal. aussies still ahve it worse....fifty+ a pack
@popcornsutton, chicken wire is only skeleton for my white sheet.
I think animals might dont like it.
I hope that in future everyone smoke additive free home grown tobacco π
Good buddy. Known for making his tobacco, he has 3 different varieties of tobacco, makes several blends with different % of each. Tobacco doesn't do well in the cold, so when the flower starts to want to open, cut it. Keep removing leaves from the bottom while the leaves at the top grow, maximizing the plant's potential before it dies from the cold.
