Hey Growmies!
Welcome back to my mini garden! ;)
This time I'm trying a sponsored seed drop from Divine Seeds! Respect 🤘
The growing medium:
1. 25% Reused ATAMI Janeco Light Mix
2. 30% Extra perlite
3. 30% Home made compost
4. 14% worm castings 8-7-6
5. 0.5-1% home cooked beef/fish bone meal
6. 2 tablespoon of EPSOM salt
Continuously working to improve my mix and learning/experimenting with organics.
The grow box, is the same DIY cardbox/mylar combo 45x45x140cm. + 6 pcs of 12V 120mm PC fans for airflow.
The light is a rack of 7 pcs of E27 sockets. Filled with regular 1000/1500lumen Osram/Philips LED bulbs, diffusor removed. 4000k at veg phase, then 2700K at bloom.
Watering with carbon filtered water this time.
So let's get to it!
day-3 - Start of 24h soak in water + drop of H2O2
day-2 - Seed shell opened. Moved to final 23l pot. Sprayed water and covered with plastic cup for top humidity.
day-1 - Lights on for 18/6 40W@40cm (dli 7.5)
day0 - Seedling above ground. 🌱👏
day1 - Shell fully opened, first leaves starting to emerge.
day2 - Seedling quite leggy, increased light to 53w@40cm (dli 11)
day3 - White translucent spot on one of the leaves. Caught 5 fungus gnats with yellow sticky + sprayed organic pyrethrin dilution all over the soil. 🤞
day5 - She is about 6 cm tall. Adjusted the order of bulbs in light grid, current dli 14 (@35cm).
day6 - She is starting to grow, photosynthesis is full on. Switching to vegetative stage, germination week successful 🌱👏
day8 - Lights 56w / 40cm / 16 DLI
day10 - Watering 0.5l with homemade root juice (germinated lentils + wakame seaweed). Hope she will like it.
day11 - Used foliar and soil spray of pyretrin+wakame. She is a bit droopy afterwards. The fungus gnat infestation was not resolved by the previous application a week ago.
day12 - Looking OK. Recovering.
day13 - Dunk in water and a pinch of worm castings, & molasses. She is looking great, leaves are a bit curvy, but it's nothing major.
day14 - Light adjusted to 65W @ 35cm (DLI 19).
Already 2 weeks above ground. 🌱👏
day15 - Top water 1.5L (lentil+wakame root booster juice)
day17 - All looking great. She is growing huge solar panels.
Have noticed some purple discoloration of upward facing stem tissue, and some tacoing on leaves, so no need to increase light intensity just yet. Adjusted to keep around 19DLI at the top.
day18 - Tried topping this plant to get a more symmetric growth, than only LST. Applied foliar with seaweed and aspirin for quick recovery.
Watering 0.5L with root booster juice.
day19 - Foliar again. She continued growing the huge leaves. Looking green and healthy. The area of my cut seems a bit brown. Hope it is OK. 🤞
Lights @ 76w (DLI 22)
day20 - Watering 0.5L with root booster juice.
day21 - She is showing first stigmas/pistils on the top, preflower started. It's a bit early, but hopefully she will have a decent stretch.
Removed the bottom lowest 2 sideshoots + used some leaf tucking to get all the other 6 in full light.
The stalk and branches are getting thick. She is building strong structure.👌
day22 - Started this week with some LST. Tied down 2 fan leaves and 2 sideshoots to start leveling out the top.
Followed by foliar (wakame + few drops of lavender essential oil) and watering with 0.5L + my lentil root juice.
Luckily no more signs of fungus gnats or other pests for now.
Have noticed minor tacoing of top leaves due to heat from the light. Installed 3x12cm top vents with DIY carbon filter. Quite restricted airflow, need to monitor the situation.
day23 - Added a small fan to move air above canopy + improved airflow of top vents.
By the afternoon she is noticably loving the new vents. Looking happy. 🌱😁
day25 - Morning LST + watering 0.7L (molasses, worm castings, seaweed). Removed 1 top leaf to allow light to lower shoots.
day26 - Morning LST + removed 2 top fan leaves.
Light adjusted to 84 watts. DLI 28.
She is showing further sings of stress (asymmetrical nodes). Need to be more careful next time with ventillation, topping (too early). (And perhaps feeding? :))
day27 - LST adjustments + foliar seaweed.
day28 - Small LST, removed 3 top fan leaves. Bottom watering 1.5L (with worm casting, epsom salt, diy bone meal).
day29 - She is a bit twisting. Top watering 0.5L plain.
Lights @ 87W (19/5h) 30DLI
day30 - LST adjustments. Bottom first true leaf claving down. Cotyledons yellowing. Otherwise all looking OK.
day31 - Watering 0.5L plain.
day34 - Watering 0.5L plain.
I was traveling this week, not too much happening. GF was keeping her watered.
day35 - On my return there was a heavy fungus gnat infestation.
day36 - Opened up the cannopy with LST, leaf tucking and some defoliation.
Applied pyrethrin spray.
Light to 91W (DLI 33). Vents adjusted to blow directly through the plant.
day37 - Morning: applied pyrethrin spray + top soil 1% H2O2.
Noon: feeding 1L water + 5g dr earth + 5g epsom + 3g bone meal + 1g potassium citrate.
day38 - All looking OK.
day39 - Bottom feed 2L water + 5g dr earth + 2g epsom + 3g bone meal + 1 g potassium citrate.
Top dress with 3 tbsp neem cake to stop fungus gnats.
day40 - I see a lot of gnats diying on the floor of my grow box, but still plenty alive and flying around. Pyretrin spray on top soil.
Luckily the buds continuing to form, the plant is looking OK overall. Removed 6 leaves for better airflow between buds.
Afternoon watering 1.5L (banana peel tea + neem cake). It was bone dry on the upper parts... She is a heavy drinker now.
day42 - Buds are growing. She seems happy. 💚
I was planning watering only tomorrow, but she is drying up super quick. Poured 0.5L to survive till the morning.

day44 - Morning watering 1.2L plain.
day45 - Prepared a solution of 13g dr earth + 6g neem cake + 3 banana peels + 2g epsom salt to 5L water. She drank 1.5L today as bottom feed, the rest is kept for next days.
Continued picking some fan leaves.
day46 - Morning top feed of the previous mix. 0.7L.
The pistils started to get funky, not straight up as before.
Light lowered to 30cm (DLI 36). Trying to dial in the humidity to 50% when possible, there were some peaks in last days.
day47 - Morning feed of the previous mix. 0.5L.
The sides of the fabric pot dry up pretty fast, so I'm only watering there.
day48 - Plain water 0.5L.
Some leaves (mid/top) showing brown patches towards the tip or edges. Also some pistils turned orange/brown. I'm hoping it is due to minor PH imbalance and will not spread. I decided to let it be for now.
day49 - End of the week. Overall the buds are swelling nicely, trichomes are more prominent, the smell is increasing. 💚

day50 - Watering 1.2L plain water
day51 - Watering 1.2L mix from last week more dilluted 1/1.
day53 - Watering 1.4L with the remains of mix from last week.
She is ripening, smell is getting strong. Trychomes on top are already milky. Pistils are gradually getting orange.
Removed about 10 fan leaves for better airflow between buds.
day54 - Watering 0.75L plain water.
day55 - Watering 0.8L water + 2.5g molasses
day56 - Watering 1.2L water + 4g molasses
She is maturing super fast. Already seeing some amber trychomes on the leaves, buds are milky. Pistils 40% orange.
day57 - Morning watering 1L plain
She is building resin heavily in last days. The top is covered, you can hardly see through the trychomes.
Fungus gnats almost fully gone - the neem cake made wonders
day58 - 1.2L water with tiny spoon of molasses.
day59 - 1.2L plain water.
Slowly decreasing light every day by 10min also trying to keep the conditions cool and dry.
day60 - 1.4L plain water.
The bottom leaves started yellowing. Some more brown patches on top leaves as well.
day61 - 0.5L plain water.
day62 - 0.5L water + 30g worm castings
day63 - 1.2L water + 1g potassium citrate
She is ripening, only 1-2 amber trychomes so far.
day64 - 1L water + 2g molasses.
Removed some more leaves with round dots.
day66 - 0.7L water + 1g neem cake.
Fungus gnats are back again. She is slowly using up the nutrient reserves in the lower leaves. Also noticied, she might be drinking less. Monitoring trychomes every day.
day67 - Neem cake topdress + 0.5 L water
day68 - 0.4L water + 1g molasses
day69 - 0.4L water + 1g neem cake
She is turning into autumn colors. Tapering off light to 28DLI (82watt).
Finally the big time has come after about 50 days of flowering.
The buds are beautiful. Heavy and dense with milky trychomes.
Drying for 9 days at 20.5°C 50%RH then moved to glass jars in the fridge for curing. Room temp would be too high to preserve the goodness.
Amazing results from such a small plant. Can hardly wait to run this genetics again and see if I can push it further.
