Temperature and humidity have been stable at 75 degrees Fahrenheit and 75% humidity with VPD around 0.74kpa. Light schedule for the first week for this photoperiod is 20hrs on/4hrs off. I will be following the Build a Soil schedule for the entire grow (which you can reference in the above photos). Microbe inoculation is top watered once a week. She is bottom watered every other to every 2 days to encourage root depth/exploration.
I am now on week 2 since seedling broke soil surface. Light schedule has been adjusted from 20/4 to 18/6. PPFD has been adjusted from 250 ppfd to 550 ppfd. DLI is around 30. No nutrients yet, and still bottom watering. Continuing to add photosynthetic microbes on a weekly basis. It should be noted the seedling is in new Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil. The soil does contain soil mites, which I will let be but monitoring its activity to prevent overpopulation.
Transplanted from the pint size container to a 20 gallon living soil pot. The fabric pot is made by Grassroots. The pot has a plastic liner inside to help retain moisture, thereby replicating nature in how it dries top down instead of outside in.
So far still some slower growth but not too bad. I believe she’s still getting used to the large space, plus expanding the root zone. As things continue to mature, I’m sure we’ll see even better growth. Overall looking pretty healthy. Will be defoliating the bottoms leaves to keep them off the soil. VPD stays around .9 Kpa- 1.1 Kpa.
Hours on have been reduced from 18hrs to 16 hrs. This is a transition period before switching to flowering. I have also top dressed with biochar/compost mixed with additional bloom fertilizer, rock dust for added minerals, and a bloom specific microbial inoculation.
Continuing to maintain optimal environmental conditions for the first 4 weeks of flowering. I’m adding weekly microbe inoculations that specialize in converting bloom nutrients into available forms for the plant. Primary focus is supporting her flowering needs.

Primarily focusing on maintaining optimal vpd by regulating humidity. Temps are staying around 78-82F during the day, and dropping to about 75 at night. I am also removing older leaves as the start dying at the bottom of the canopy.

Humidity is still somewhat of a struggle. I have put a mini dehumidifier inside the tent which helps, but not perfect. Usually staying around 55%-65% humidity. It’s higher than I like, but I am trying to mitigate it by having plentiful airflow and exhaust.

We’re getting close!! Humidity has been better with running our central AC. Sometimes we still open up the windows because the weather is nice. Ideally I wish I could get the humidity down to 40% but I’ll take what I can get.
