Topped her yesterday. She's looking ok. Roots look really good. Lower leaves showing some brown spotting. Could be from not getting light. Although the nute solution is 150ppm less than it was 3 days ago. Seems she's really hungry. Going to give new nute solution to all of them later today.
She's starting to take off now. I upped the nutrients to 800ppm. Total ppm is 940. My tap water is 140ish ppm.
She's gotten greener as well. Roots look good still.
Her root ball is getting bigger.
This is the second from Royal Queen Seeds that I'm growing this run that has impressive roots. These strains love hydro.
Starting to get smelly but the RQS skunk plant is overpowering the grow tent right now.
Nice big fat indica leaves too.
She is growing exactly as RQS has posted. She is stretching, long internodal spacing and thick stalks. She's stretching quite a bit but the buds are kush indica size.
Big indica fan leaves. Really smelly now.
She's drinking about 1 gallon of water a day.
Her buds are swelling. Little bit of foxtailing under the light. Some of her branches got really tall for the tent. I try to keep the lower colas under it. It seems she likes that bright light though.
She smells wonderful. Can't place it yet. Very sticky and resinous now.
Hard to get decent pics since she's so tall. These buds are really swelling up now. They are getting very dense. They are top heavy. A couple colas bent over. I did my best to splint them up.
Nice dank smell all over. Trichromes are turning milky.
This strain from RQS is another banger. She grew exactly as described. Tall sativa branches with dense induca kush nugs covered in resinous trichromes. The smell is just amazing. My friend even liked the smell said it was dank.
The sativa branches and internodal distance allows light to hit the buds pretty far down the canopy. Trimming off fan leaves except the top few helped harden the lower buds.
Definitely gets tall for a standard sizes 4X4 ft grow tent. But it can be done. Flipping lights to 12/12 when she's 18 to 20" helps. Or you can scrog.
The nugs got dense and heavy in late flower. So much some of those Sativa branched supercropped themselves. 2 of the colas folded over and most of the mid ranged buds as well. Very delicate those branches.
But overall these will be some banger kush buds.
