This is actually week 5. Sorry folks. Still not as mighty as imagination but I've addressed all those issues in previous posts. It's now a race between them and the bag seed. Moved to a slightly more sunnier spot.

No so great this week for the kush. I had an accident wish broke one of the plants tops so I decided to top them all save for one and see how i goes from the re. pH runoff is at 7.4 which is weird since. washed them with 6.7. Been watering almost once a week now and let the rain fall when it wants. Not happy over all but these are just experiments as far as I'm concerned. Had some shiny white spots on some so sprayed with neem oil. Seems to have cleared up some. Might give it another dose in a few days when I'm sure it's not going to rain

I cut out the water drastically to with all my plants to try and improve root growth, the plants themselves are developing slowly after topping and in hindsight I should have just let them grow considering they were having trouble to begin with. Also, I've switched to seagro because I honestly have no idea what I am doing with the 3 step nutes when it says to give them all at the same time which is counter to what I've seen other people do with it. I figured with something like seagro I can't go wrong. What is really interesting is that the freedom farms media transplant test I did with one of the plants is producing darker, healthier looking leaves. Obviously some sort of issue with the soil I have the others in. Not enough magnesium maybe.

Since I started using this seagro kalpak mix now everything is shooting of like crazy. The little 10% shade cloth and glass hut I made helped with the light burn and heat problems too I think.

Hey @CityGrowZA! Damn man. I see you say they got way too hot? They look like the roots got a little too hot/cooked. I'm also growing in South Africa and have had this problem. Some bag seeds I had in small brown pots roots got too hot and they looked like this. Check out my first grow diary for a lot of info about grow temperatures and sunlight hours for outdoor plants in SA! Also, next time look for Freedom Farms soil online or maybe using a Coco/Perlite/Compost (1/1/1) soil mix you can make yourself with stuff from Builders Warehouse or Plantland. Hope that helps man!

@biird, Yeah those temps were insane. They did not like it. I'm still trying to figure out how to get some direct sun without all that damn heat. Shade cloth is the best I can think of at the moment. RIght now they're sitting in the shade and seem a little happier. I'll have a look at your post. Thanks

Another Dinafem grow up and running on the grow diary platform 👍 Are you sure she is 6 weeks old my friend?. She looks very little for that age. Good luck with the grow. I'll be along for the ride and watching with interest 👍 All the best ✌️ Mark..

@DinafemSeeds, Hi. Thanks for cooking up a cool strain. 👍 and thanks for the interest in my grow. I'm not entirely sure.I'm still figuring out how to use the diary I had them marked down as 19 Oct but I don't think that was from seed date so I took a guess. It's about 4 weeks since the 19th so I need to edit that. Still, I think there were soil and enviro factors involved. Ground temps around the plant were over 50 deg celsius if the thermometer was correct. They seem a little happier in the shade. When I clone the happiest one I will try a different soil setup, maybe with a shade cloth and see how it goes.
