This plant has been a joy to grow so far.
She loved being topped, and has taken very well to the cage. Growing fast now, she will be in flower in a bout 3 days or so.
Week two is over, expecting her to really take off heading into week 3. Watering every 3 days like clockwork. She is happy. Very easy to grow this strain, so far. Zero problems
Leaves at starting to yellow on the lower canopy, so she should start showing her colors soon. Smelling like pungent fruit cheese. She is loud!! Trichomes are plentiful and i see more and more each week. Very happy with how easy this strain has been to grow.
The buds have really started to fatten up this week. A few weeks away and she'll be harvested. I cant say this enough but this strain has been very easy and effortless to grow. She has my mouth watering with the smell from the buds!!! For this grow I have fed her nothing but my own blend of compost tea that I made this past fall. I also have been adding 3 tablespoons of Molasses and 3 tablespoons of organic honey per 4L jug of water. 100% organic.
Flowers are getting rock hard, I can see the finish line. Just water for the next 10 days. This was my first time running a scrog, and topping. Had I topped this plant a little better she would have had more fatter buds. That being said I'm very happy with strain up to this point. She smells of pungent cheese with light hints of fruit. I have 4 great clones I cut from this plant and have properly topped them 3 times and they have responded very well for my next round.
She smells amazing, and is starting to really get her fade, flowers are sticky and smell very pungent, with some notes of fruit. She has slowed down lots on her water consumption and is in the final days of her life cycle.
She is in the final days of her life cycle. She is full of sticky trichomes and smells like a slice of sharp well aged cheese mixed into a fruit salad... (dank af ). Trichomes have become cloudy and some amber is now present. (Checking daily) I expect her to be harvested over this coming weekend. I cannot not say anything negative about this strain during both the vegetation and flowering stages, she was a joy to grow. Zero issues. She loved being topped, and does very well in the trellis. I have clones ready to try her outdoors this summer growing season.
Nothing bad to say. Dinafem's deep cheese was an absolute joy to grow. I sampled I nug prior to placing the flowers into jars. The smoke was smooth and tasted of cheese with some berry undertones. The high comes on smooth and I felt very chill but not tired. There was zero burn out. Definitely loving the high. I have taken clones and will be keeping this strain in my garden for a while. This grow was done 100% organic. I fed her a mixture of home made compost tea mixed with molasses and bee honey, I am satisfied with the yield. Some nice 5 gram buds in there.
Happy gardening and good vibes.
Beautiful work with the training and canopy management 👍
I agree with your plan mate. Another 2 weeks then take your clones, clean up the lower branches and then it will be "flower time" 👌
Looking in tip top shape my friend 👍
Please keep the updates coming, this is one flower show we will not be missing 👊
All the best ✌️
Mark..
Curious how much she will bulk on. I'm looking for high yielding cheese strains to grow in the future and this one caught my attention. Very nice grow you got going there sir!
You look to be well into bloom with plentiful budsites showing and getting ready to pack on that weight 👌
Looking good from here my friend and thank you for the diary update 👍
All the best ✌️
Mark..
@DinafemSeeds, thanks alot Mark! A few weeks left!! I cant wait, I also have 5 amazing looking clones from this girl that i have topped twice aready and they have responded very well.
@GoodVibeGarden, So we can see my friend. Those flowers look amazing and trichome development is going crazy 👍
Not long now buddy and you'll be enjoying some Deep Cheese goodness 👌
Definitely one of our more pungent strains that's why we recommend a carbon filter 👍
Keep the updates coming please mate and harvest is approaching fast 👊
Until next time ✌️
All the best
Mark..
The bud production has gone crazy and that trichome coverage is amazing 👌
Big densely structured flowers dripping in trichomes, what's not to love 👍
@GoodVibeGarden Just looking at the pictures I would say another 10 maybe 14 day's and it will be harvest time, would you agree mate?
Please keep the updates coming, harvest is approaching fast 👌
All the best ✌️
Mark..
@GoodVibeGarden, it looks like we were both right my friend with our harvest estimates 👍
Another 2 maybe 5 day's maximum then it is harvest time for our Deep Cheese 👌
Good luck with the harvest mate. I'll drop back in soon to see how you are getting on 👍
All the best ✌️
Mark..
@DinafemSeeds, thanks Mark, yes! the flowers are fat and solid. 💪🌳I agree on a finish time of 10 to 14 days. Going to start looking at trichomes closer near the end of next week. She smells amazing.
@GoodVibeGarden, clones of the original cheese (skunk #1) originally given out at free parties (warehouse raves) by the Exodus collective.
But for some reason 'deep cheese' made me imagine wonderful smells, hope I'm right!
@GandalfTheGreen, from what I have read cheese strains have been around since the late 80's. I do not know when Dinafem released this particular strain however, sorry
I would get her on 18/6 or 20/4 mate. As she is a photoperiod strains she need that dark period 👍
A nice happy seedling 👌
Let's see what you can do with our Deep Cheese 👊
Good luck with the grow. I'll be along for the ride and watching with interest 👍
All the best ✌️
Mark..
Congratulations on the Deep Cheese harvest mate. Some really nice flowers produced and great to read that you are happy with how this strain performed 👍
That lets us know we are doing our job correctly but without growers like yourself to show the world what they can do we Would not be where were are today 👊
Thank you for the great diary and enjoy that dank and frosty end product my friend 👌
All the best ✌️
