The girls have been outside for almost a full week! The first 2 days were rough with upper 80s and full sunshine. I wasn't able to harden them before moving them to a different property because my neighbors are nozy.
They are super healthy so far!
Deer repellent, chicken wire fence, and a light organic insecticide spray on the first night are the current defenses. Along with cameras for security .
@Cameltoe, Thank you! They were transplanted into holes that were filled with FF Happy Frog. The soil I dug the holes in was slurry tested at exactly 6.5 ph and I noticed it was loaded with earthworms as I was digging. As long as the deer and wind permit, these girls will be enormous!
