Welcome to my divine seeds grow of a Northern lights. We all know this classic strain and I'm looking forward to growing this example out
In my 4 years growing now I've never tried to grow a NL,I've smoked more than my fair share over the years so I am very keen to grow my own..
I'm not sure what nutes I will use on this run. I've used some humic acid as a seed soak but I'm sitting on a care package from genoneeleven. I may use these for this grow.. still undecided.
I imagine a 5 week veg and into flower.

Tech wise if anyone is bothered is all automated bar feeding. I'm a odd one in the fact I actually quite like sitting with my plants and feeding. It gives me a chance to have a proper nose over them and make sure everything is on track.
All environmentally effected devices are controlled by my home made system. It will allow me to stay within a 3 point margin of what ever parameters I pre define.saves money and gives perfect VPD.

A great establishment week for the Northern lights. She is doing great and has taken to her little 300ml pot of Plagron lightmix like a champ. No signs of any issues and with the loaded substrate I will only need to give water for the next week..👍🏼
Lights are running at 20% on the dimmer for a 75w lamp. DLI is 12.4 on a 24 HR cycle. The lamp is a bunch of lm301H whites with some added 450nm royal blue . This is a great frequency to promote healthy node spacing in seedlings and early veg.
Environmental info.. Lo tech for now all I need is a couple of plastic tubs and they sit under these with an RH of 75% and as the are in my living room it's also nice and warm for them..
I have a set of WiFi sensors and triggers to run my humidifier if I should need to automate. But I'm keen to keep costs low as possible on this one

I'm a bit late updating this week as I had to go to Paris for the week for work.
The week went fine with some good growth. Just water this week as the mix she's in is good for around 10 days. She will be repot into a 1l for the start of week 3.
A strong little sprout so far showing good form.
Lights levels are giving 14dli and she's sitting on a 24hr cycle . I plan to leave her on this cycle until around week 5. Then I will reduce hrs down into flower.

So it's been a bit stressful this week. I have to go away for 2 weeks and I need the divine seeds plants to stay in a very small tent for this time. My wife will be watching them so they are in good hands. Those who follow my grows will know how good she's become very good in the last few years as I work away a lot .
When I was away working last week I came home to find some rather stressed plants in tiny 300ml pots. They were getting bothered so the had a repot and a trim down to just a single leaf set at the 4th node. I cleared everything else and then buried the plant as deep as I could in her 1l new pot. I plan to top them the night before I leave also in hopes to slow things down a bit more. The trouble is these genetics seem to be very strong and since getting the new pot growth is explosive... Damn it.😋
Feeds of low level npk will be started with either greenbuzz or genoneeleven. Not sure yet.🤔 But there is still another few days in the lightmix..
Light schedules are now on a 20/4.
Next week's update will be late due to my work trip. But I shall make sure my wife takes some pics of the plants.
The Northern lights has such a nice structure for such a young plant. Strong smells from her for such a early vegging plant. I hope this bodes well for her when she flowers.

Sorry for the lack of update last week. As I said in week 3 I had some work taken me away for 12 days and my wife looked after the ladies.
I think that will take me out if the competition but I shall keep going all the same as maybe some of my info may help a grower in the future. Or maybe provide some comic value. Either way..😜😂😂
Northern lights is a beast. Great growth in 12 days and has filled her 1l pot to the point of "shit I need a new home"
Gonna get her into 11l finisher do a few more weeks of veg and flip her around week 7. My wife topped her last week and she bounces back no issues.
So far she has taken 1 feed of grow at an ec if just over 1. The tent she is in is as I predicted too small so lucky my cherry garseeya and Biscotti mintz have just been chopped so I can move them over tomorrow.
I'm sure there's more I should say but I can't think now. A very strong strain that is growing like a weed.😋
The NL is doing great. She's had a load of supercroping as her height was nuts. Cleared all lowers for now and she's into flower cycle week 2.
Feeds are onto bloom but I think she wants some N still also so I'm going to keep feeding a low dose once a week for another 2 weeks
Very good genetics and super strong . Not bothered about any of the snaps and bends she's been given.
Sorry for the poor diary updates. Between this platform being broken all the time and my life not allowing the time it's lucky I've managed this at all
I post updates regularly on IG as it's just easier and works.

Been away working out of the country. The diary is ruined but the plants are doing great. They are tied down and have had heavy hst.
Added more PK this week . Plants are doing great.
