Hey every one. I started to grow my own weed and want you to see how that goes.
I really am a noob, but I give it a try.
I planted my seedlings straight in to Cocos ( I read it wasn't that hard :( ) and after 3 days one of the leafs was turning up. Lack of nutricions, I dont know. Started to give my baby's some more water, boosted up the huminidy to 48 and it looks like the one who told me she was thirsty, is feeling better now.
Today they are in the pot for a week. Temperature and air humidity remain a problem in the tent, so I'm going to start adding CO2 this week. Furthermore, the ladies receive 2x per day between 200 and 300 ml of water
UPDATE 13-11-2018 My equipment for the CO2 is not yet inside, so I ordered a dimmer for my lamp. To compensate the heat a bit, I ensure a high humidity. Furthermore, the ladies grow as cabbage.
Last week I have been waiting for my CO2 installation, but still not delivered. The temperature is now up to 27 degrees, which will come because the ladies have already grown a lot. I keep the humidity around 50%. 1 of the ladies has grown so big that I started to train her. Next week I will do the same with the other ladies. Still can not believe that these ladies started living on November 1 (germination of the seeds). Another update next week :)
Last week I gave the ladies a bit more nutrition, but they did not need that. Now back to the old schedule. In terms of growth, they grow unevenly so the distance to the lamp is not the same with the ladies. I move them daily because otherwise they start to grow crooked. The trunks look thick and sturdy. Another update next week.
INSTANT UPDATE: The lady's started the flowering period at 27-11 and the (buds) are growing fast
2 days after the last update, the ladies went into the flowering period (not all of them). Last week I tried to increase the diet slightly, but the ladies immediately indicated that they did not need it. The last couple of days they have only been given clear water with the right PH, but also with that diet more ladies began to indicate that they got too much nutrition. After I had looked at the schedule of Canna again I saw that the ML per 10 liters were, so they have all that time much too much. Let's hope that they adjust a little bit more. All in all, they look good according to me :)
Last week the ladies got into bloom. One of the ladies is even growing up against the ceiling of my tent, just to see how I can solve this week. The lady who had too much food, I have been flushing and that seems to be going well again. Furthermore, all the ladies received water for 2 days, with a pH of 6. No food. The lady with the double trunk does not seem to have started to blossom. All in all, the ladies still seem to be happy with my care :)
Last week I was busy, so little time to give them a lot of care. While moving the biggest lady, her trunk broke through the middle. I immediately cut her completely short so that the ladies now have the same height. Next week I hope to have more time for them again.
The ladies are doing well, they are in full bloom. In terms of nutrients, everything seems to be in order now. The lady who had too many nutrients is also happy, looks good. The lady with the double trunk is still not blooming, but looks very healthy. All in all a good week.
Easy week. Stopped with the nutrients. Now only water with a PH of 5.6. All in all satisfied with last week. They do start to suffer from heat because of the altitude. They almost grow against the lamp, no idea what I can do about this. The lady with the double trunk is still not in bloom, while the others have been in bloom for some time. Look at it this week how she does it. If she does not bloom next week, I'm forced to halve her. Although I know I can not do anything else, I just do not want to do it to her.
Well, the ladies have a quiet week behind them again. In terms of nutrients, they got a little bit today, the rest of the week it was just water. The lady with the double trunk I tried to train with strings so she looks down. I spent the whole day working on it and the moment I put her back in the tent, I hear the knackle :( Left side is cracking, now she is exactly under the lamp and now she has her tied to the roof with a rope, so the fracture can heal again.
Well, just knock on wood. The ladies have a good life and enjoy (according to me) plenty. Fortunately no problems with pests or other problems. The leaves start to get autumn colors, so all nutrients start to run out. Furthermore, they get water for almost 10 days now. Every day I watch with a microscope whether the trichomes are becoming amber. (Can not wait :) ).
The lady with the double trunk, I removed it from the tent and is now in my living room. After this breeding check if she is already in bloom, if not I will start her cuttings and try to participate in a breeding round. Hoping that if they get a light schedule they will want to start flowering. For the time being she does not seem to be an autoflower.
