First Legal Canadian grow and sarting with Humbolt seeds Chocolate mint Og , to my surprise all the beans popped . I tried something different and instead of papertowels or soaking the seeds in a cup of water i planted the dry seeds into the fully saturated rockwool inside a germination dome(as advised by a wise master) , on the third day all of them sprouted . Using a blurple(35w) grow light for right now to veg as my cobs deliver early next week ,the main light for the space is a 5 COB led setup from RapidLed that should draw 75w per cob . I should be picking up my 4x4 tent , carbon filter , fans , etc today and im hoping the COB led shows up tuesday for assembly .- **update**ALL have been picked up and assembled , COBS will be assembled tomorrow Longtime smoker first time grower , i have tried to do as much research as possible in preparation for this grow so i wont be going overboard with Nutes as that is what i am least fermilliar with . Starting with Fox Farms Ocean Forest (FFOF) soil ,still looking into other nutes and deciding what to use . Any suggestions feel free to let me know

Week 2 has been good , transplanted all the rockwool sprouts into cups . Used fox farms ocean forest soil and i have to say it did give a few plants some nute burn , nothing terrible but 3 of the 5 did get a touch of burn on the edge of 1 or 2 leafs but im willing to chalk that up to transplanting them into the soil a bit early , however they did bounce back quickly . Next time ill wait untill they are closer to this size before tansplanting . Giving the girls 24hr light right now , it s winter here and i want to keep the temeratures nice and toasty inside the tent . I have been watering them untill there is a touch of runoff then i left them to dry out for 3 days before the next watering , using water with a ph of 6.5 Smoking some Chocolate mint og That HellHazard grew on his last run and i have to say Im impressed with the overall quality and flavor

Last friday was the end of my third week and the date of the pics . All 4 plants set transplanted into 1gl pots and doing thier thing , with the 5th being the nute burned runt (i think it got Nute topped as its growing in crazy directions) Looking good so far , getting 4/5 nodes per plant , very short and bushy Did a little LST with pipe cleaners and watering every 3/4 days once soil gets dry

Having alot of fun growing these gals , doing a bit of lst and about to FIM and TOP some , I will try to keep some.notes to see what works out better . Drinking lots of water , not having any real issues aside from a touch of nute burn on the occasional low hanging leaves .

All the ladies havebounced back from ththe top/fim of last week , turns out i didnt top any and i actually FIM'd them lol . Lst coming along well, just using pupe cleaners to stretch them out to the edges of each pot . Going to rrabsplany into 5gl pots asap. I will be using FFOF soil so that should add a nice amount of nutes back into the grow medium

Explosive growth off the ladies , the stems and stalks are getting very thick from some pinching and LST , 2 of the 4 have some insanely thick stalks . Overall they have stretched out nicely from LST and are filling up the pots but have not yet made a break for any vertical height . Still quite low and bushy . I have veen pruning and defoliating with good success as the 1 plant i did not prune showed signs of slower growth . It was growing well but so dense that it was choking itself off , under the canopy was a real knotted mess so i went in deep for agood trim . Using some basic A/B veg nutes to ammend the FFOF soil and started using some B52 and VOODOO juice . B52 also as a foliar spray and the gals are absolutely loving it , so lush and green 😀 .

Not truly week 8 as i wouldnt count the first 2 weeks of germination , GROWING LIKE CRAZY the gals are loving the cob setup and cant seem to get enough of this foliar spray ive been using ( B52 with some BIO ROOT ) All in all im just loving how the plants have progressed , super short but dense with growth . The pictures hardly do it justice , luscious green growth and a nice dense canopy , super thick stems and lst has them growing a ton of nodes . I did the final defoliation this week and plan on 1 last week of Veg growth before kicking off BLOOM . Feeding a simple regimen of nutes with my base of A/B Veg nutes topped off with some B52 , VOODOO JUICE and BIO ROOT . Nothing crazy so far, but growth has been excellent . I took some clones during the defoliation and i have to say seed #1 and #4 are deffenitly in the lead right now with #2 close behind and #3 needing a 2 inch "booster seat" to even out the canopy coverage . What do you guys think so far ? And if you have any tips for leading into week 1 of bloom please share 😁

Wow , week 1 bloom of my first grow , and Legal grow . Finally seeing buds has reinvigorated me lol i vegged these gals a full 8 weeks and the nodes per plant are over a dozen right now , lil buds are growing nicely even considering i have defoliated each plant once this week with a few additional handfuls of leafs here and there . Started with bud ignitor hopefully that is helping and we will see by end of week 2 😁😁 also i took down my scrog , i just wasnt able to to get into each plant and defoliate as needed with the scrog present . Next time i will scrog alot earlier during veg . Thanks for checking out my grow , if you have any tips or tricks for a rookie im all ears
