Inuslar Planted 6 seeds, 3 Epsilon F1 and 3 Critical Orange Punch in peat pots covered in cling film. All seeds germinated and were visible after 5 days. I transplanted the 3 Epsilon F1 and 1 Critical Orange Punch directly into 4 pots, 2 Coconut coir and 2 other pots{better explained in week 3 submission}. My plan is to see what difference the different substrates do with the 3 identical F1 plants makes? No nutrients were added in week one except Great White The 2 remaining Critical Orange Punch seedlings were donated to a friend with a similar setup as my own.

Inuslar I started all 4 seeds in peat pots. It took 5 days for the seedlings to break through. I transplanted the seedlings directly into 4 pots. Pot 1,3 and 4 Epsilon F1, pot 2 Auto Critical Orange Punch (see photo description) Pot 1 an 2 fabric 15L.70/30 Coco/perlite Pot 3 regular pot, 70%coco/perlite, 30% home composted soil Pot 4 50/50 garden soil and compost. Let's see which pot and substrate works out best. I will feed them all the same mix. Feeding, see Palgron schedule photo. I will repeat week 1 until flowering. I will monitor the plants daily and make any adjustments as necessary.

Inuslar All was going well until yesterday. The circulation fan slipped down the pole and sat on top of Pot 3 Epsilon F1. Unfortunately, it did some damage, fortunately it wasn't fatal. (see photo) I have slightly boosted the nutrients and am still using about 500ml water per plant. I believe that the slight increase in smell is due to the Critical Orange Punch, it shouldn't be a stealth issue going forward as I haven't fitted the carbon filter yet, a job for next week, possibly. I've been using Great White Premium since the start of the grow. I had a few spare Critical Orange Punch seedlings that I gave to a friend who has a very similar setup to mine but isn't using Great White and I am seeing far better results with all plants. I have given him some, and maybe he will get a boost as a result. I will report any results that he has as a comparison in this log in a few weeks.

Inuslar I started low-stress training with tent pegs and a bit of defoliation, and all looks good. I've started adding 1g per Litre of Epsom salts to feed. The air filter is up and running, I am trying something different, all my fans are USB-powered ( 75 cubic m/hr) except the circulation fan I have also added another light, which is a 60w cheap Aliexpress job. The new total power output is around 170w. There are hints of flowering and I will need to adjust the feeding supplements. Yup, I'm sorta making it up as I go along but it seems to be working out so far.😁 I'm concerned about humidity levels and will gladly take any low-cost suggestions.

Inuslar Humidity is going to be my biggest issue at the moment, the outside humidity is over 80 all the time. I have folded the lips of the fabric bags to their lowest point to improve airflow. I am starting to worry about mould. Soil mould has appeared in one of the F1. I cleared all signs of mould and dusted the top of the pot with cinnamon powder. Hopefully, it will clear it up, I might have to do it regularly. I suspect that It is my fault because I did not sterilise the tent pegs that I am using. Watch this space for results. I did a hardish defoliation to open them up and get better airflow, and heavier Low-Stress Training.🙏

Inuslar A good week with heavy defoliation every 3 days. I am still concerned with the humidity levels but the fungal infection in the soil seems to have been cured by the cinnamon powder and I haven't had to reapply it again. The girls are stretching their leg and have started to climb.

Inuslar Another week has passed with liberal defoliation and small LST tweaks. I'm quite happy with the results for a first-time grower. I am adding 1g of Epsom salts per litre to the liquid feed and a dash of white vinegar to lower the pH a bit. The Epsilon F1 are racing along nicely and should be ready for drying by the end of the month. It is already obvious that the best of the 3 Epsilon F1's, all planted in different substrates, is the Plagron Cocos Perlite (70/30). That said, the two other girls have smaller volume pots and seem to be plodding along just fine The Critical Orange Crush will probably take an extra few weeks to reach maturity but that's expected. Still no signs of the mould growth returning, the cinnamon powder seems to have done the job nicely, would recommend it as a low-cost effective solution for substrate mould after clearing all signs on the soil..

Inuslar There is nothing noteworthy to say this week, all the girls are ploughing along nicely. Fortunately, there is no sign of the mould problem returning. I did some light defoliation again. The difference between the two varieties is mad, the Critical Orange Punch is so butch, thick stems and big sturdy leaves. Still no sign of golden trichomes, maybe next week. The Tent is getting very crowded so I will probably harvest the Epsilon F1 soon.

Inuslar Another week has passed with nothing much to report. I have switched to water only for the Epsilon F1 Autos in preparation for harvest. The foliage on the Critical Orange Punch Auto is crazy, and I must clip leaves regularly to ensure I get good airflow. I have just realised that I am probably doing SOG by accident, DOH!

Inuslar ACOP exploded in size over the 3 weeks after the F1 Epsilon was harvested. I should have left it another week but It generated 120g which isnt bad at all.

I had a bit of a disaster today, somehow, the circulation fan slipped down the pole and rested, running for 12 hours, on Ersilon pot B. Poor lass is still alive but it will skew the test results, and she was looking so good.😭
the end.
