06/06/24 (FD 09): After calmag usage 2 days ago, the northern lights shifted colour into dark green, I hope I didn't overdo it (used 2/3 of manufacturer dosage). Happy about them having more or less the same size and development though!
11/06/24 (FD 14): They grew ~10cm in the last 5 days only, reaching up to 40cm now! I'm a bit worried that they will develop a nitrogen deficit, since the first small leaves at the bottom are turning yellow, I will soon buy some Blooming nutrients just in case! For now I will switch back to top watering in the hope to activate the nutes in the (dry) top layer (~ 5 - 10 cm) of the soil!
Dear Community, I would really appreciate some help! I'm growing on soil only and in the last days of veg 1 of my 3 plants started to show some discoloration in light green - brown mainly on older fan leaves. I repotted to 7L, but it didn't change anything. What can I do? Thanks!
Por el color que tienen diría que es un exceso de de riego con fertilizantes y eso causa bloqueo de raíces.
Lo mejor es lavar raíces y empezar los riegos con todo bien calibrado, ph, ec, etc..
It’s looking like your experience a calcium issue. These plants really use a ton of Calcium to grow and it is needed to provide them with additional calcium as they grow.
Most bottles of CalMag will do, just follow the manufactures reccomended dosing. Luckily, this is one of the easier issues to fix.
I hope this helps.
Thanks everyone for giving me those helpful tips, I'm still figuring everything out and this really helps a lot! I will definitely use calmag from time to time on the future!
