She almost died on me too many times now. Still not sure what I can give her to make her happier.

If you just had a bunch of seeds in your hand it would be almost impossible to tell what kinda strain you . As they grow they may develop some characteristics of certain strains that may make it easier to tell . If your buying seeds from a retailer it should always be indicated 100% on the packaging what strain you have . It may not tell you the info such as flowering time or the percentages of indica/sativa but it should at the very least tell you who they came from : Dinafem , Canuk Seeds , Barneys farm and so on and it should also be written the strain and if its feminised. With that being said you can determine the dominant of a plant by looking at the leaves if they are thinner and longer leaves they are more sativa also with that being said the plants tend to grow a little taller . If the leaves are bigger but shorter you have yourself an indica plant , there's a third type of plant but you dont often see it as a dominant its always mixed in with strains , it is called ruderallis and its main trait that instead of growing 5 7 9 12 parts to a leaf it will usually on do 3 parts . According to your diary your strain your are growing isnt an auto so i wouldnt recommend leaving the lights on 24 hours . Plants need a rest period (photosynthesis period) which is usually done at night . You can leave the lights on 24 hours a day but your growth won't be as fast as 18 hours or 20 hours . Most pro growers when doing photo period strains will only veg for 20 hours a day max in order to give the plant some rest time . I hope this information is useful to you in understanding abit about the different types of cannabis plant and the importance of giving your plant rest time if its a photo period plant . -Happy Growing!

Hey again guys, its been quite the ride! IS there anyone who could give me a guess on strain? Or even a wild guess in terms of % indica/sativa ? She started to show pre floration at around 25 days with 16H/Light. Once again many thanks πŸ˜„

Hey there, this is clearly an indication dominant strain 70/30 minimum and it looks like you have 4 weeks or less left until the chop. To guess the strain well need to know more about how it smells and even how it tastes after the cure, could very well be GSCs or any number of the 10s of 1000s of gens out there lol hope this helps ! πŸš€

My guess on the strain would be the Somango autoflower that you were discussing considering it looks like she began to flower on her own without 12/12 lights. According to my research if this is the case and the seeds do correlate to the cardboard packaging you had then it will be a 75% indica dominant hybrid. Let us know if it has a nice mango taste when you do finally get to smoke it that will confirm it. Looking great so far, look forward to hearing the results.

As your growing mystery seeds there is a way to determine if they are photoperiod or autoflowering πŸ‘ Keep the lights on the 20/4 regimes as you have it now. By day 25-35 we will know if the seeds are auto or photo as autos will start to bloom (flower) πŸ‘Š If the plants have not started to bloom by day 35 then you have "photoperiod" White Siberian. Then you can take your clones πŸ‘ Time will tell my friend πŸ‘Š All the best ✌️ Mark..

Since this is looking like an auto you can run the lights at 18/6 or 20/4 for heavier yields. autos do not need a 12/12 schedule.

@DinafemSeeds, I did not say it was the white siberian. the owner of the journal said this "The only info I have is two little cardboard that may or not be from the seeds I have one of which is white siberian from DinafemSeeds and the other being Auto Somango from advancedseeds.com" I presumed it was the auto somango because in week 4 of his journal he reports that the light is on 18/6 and to me it was showing signs of being in flower. the only way for this to happen would be if it was an auto flower otherwise it wouldnt show signs of flowers until atleast a week of 12/12. You can def stay on 12/12 to be safe since you arent a 100% sure but if it is the auto you will be losing significant weight.

@thegreatdeadpoolio, White Siberian is not an autoflowering strain my friend. If the lights get flipped back to 18/6 from 12/12 and this is a photoperiod strain as thought this could be a very bad move as it will force the plant to re-veg. I would personally stay on 12/12 to complete this grow, going of the pictures you still look to have around 4-5 weeks remaining so lots of time for more weight to go on πŸ‘Œ Why do you think this is an auto my friend? All the best ✌️ Mark..

I love me a good guessing game but you ll need to give us more info how it smells how it tastes etc... Definitely an auto (increase the light schedule no problem if you want!) And for sure an indication dominant ... Beyond that... No one can say I think ! Let me know if you have any other questions πŸš€

I would give them 20 hours of LIght, 1st not knowing what you got, 2nd. everyone should have time to rest. Im my experience they like the 20 hours most. they can have a nap and grow big roots in the darktime Tra to compare by yourself with diaries from other growrs, i think you may find out wich strain it is

pretty much you wont know and wont be able to find out thru appearance. The plants will take on charachteristics of this and that Sativa vs indica etc, but everything is so cross-bread even that isn't very reliable. Smoking it will give you the best idea.

The only info I have is two little cardboard that may or not be from the seeds I have one of which is white siberian from DinafemSeeds and the other being Auto Somango from advancedseeds.com Being the second an auto ie cross breed with an ruderallis, which i wasn't looking for at this moment since i wanted to experience with cloning, i should play it safe since it will go auto into flowering. Thank you very much for the replies, you were all very helpful.😊 I'll do my best to maintain the dairy updated.
