After having such tremendous success growing their Gorilla Cookies Fast Flower outdoors last year, I've decided to run another of their fast flowering strains outdoors this year... This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Wedding Cheesecake FF indoors as our weather is still too cold to put her outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 30's℉).
The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚

Weekly Updates:
3/28- Day one for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake FF! I initially soaked the seed in lukewarm tap water for 24 hours, at which time the shell had split and a root tip was visible. I then transferred the seed to a pre-soaked peat pellet which was placed in a 1.5"x1.5" plastic seedling pot which was set into the bottom half of a Solo cup that I cut in half.
3/30- As soon as I could see a root beginning to emerge from the peat pellet I transferred the pellet, that I first coated with Extreme Gardening's MYCOS, into a Solo cup that had a 70/30 Coco/Perlite mix that was pre-amended with Gaia Green 4-4-4 slow release dry amendment, along with wiggle worm castings. After placing the Wedding Cheesecake FF in the cup, I watered it in and placed a humidity dome over it to ensure that it stayed in a relatively moist environment as it gets acclimated to its new 'temporary home'.
4/1- The Wedding Cheesecake FF has taken right to her Solo cup and is looking stress free. Her vigor and color are both exceptional as well!
4/3- Well there's the first week for this little girl. Stay tuned in the coming weeks, especially when she gets moved outside and really starts to take off. I can't wait... can you?

Weekly Updates:
4/4- Here we go into the second week of life for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake FF, and she's doing really well!
All I'm doing right now is making sure that her medium remains moist, watering only when necessary. I'm checking her root development daily and she will be ready to transplant outdoors any day now!
4/6- Today is TRANSPLANT DAY! I moved the Wedding Cheesecake FF outside to her prearranged 'new home' which I had previously prepped by adding some Coco/Perlite into the soil to improve the texture and drainage. I then pre-amended the soil with Gaia Green 4-4-4 All Purpose slow release dry amendment along with 3g of Wiggle Worm castings, 2 cups of ground Alfalfa and 1/4 cup of Extreme Gardening's MYCOS. After which, I kept the soil moist to allow the microbial colony to populate for a week.
To transplant, I first made a hole then placed a Solo cup in it to make sure that the depth was adequate, then packed the medium up against the cup firmly which leaves a nice Solo cup shaped hole in the ground. I then wet the inside of the hole that I formed and coated the hole with Extreme Gardening's MYCOS root enhancer, after which I removed the Wedding Cheesecake FF from her Solo cup and placed her snugly into her new home! After planting her in the ground all that was left to do was lightly water her in... Let the fun begin!🤪
4/8- The Wedding Cheesecake FF from FastBuds is doing extremely well in her new environment. To be quite honest I was slightly hesitant to place her outside this early as we are only getting approximately 13 or so hours of sunlight daily. Based on my experience last year growing a Gorilla Cookies FF, which was placed outside at a similar time and did extremely well, I went ahead with the transplant, confident that she would be just fine.
4/11- I'm watering around every 2-3 days right now using water straight from my well through a garden hose... super simple! I do not worry about PH as long as the water isn't chlorinated and is good enough for me to drink, it's good enough for my plants and the microbial colony in the soil will adjust the PH to where they need it and at the same time provide the nutrients that the plant requires... again, nice and simple.
Well there goes two weeks for this little lady. The next coming weeks should see an increase in size and vigor as long as the weather cooperates... fingers crossed!🤞

This little lady is basically on autopilot for now and all I'm really doing is making sure that I check her daily and water when needed with well water straight from the garden hose!
4/14- All is well with the Wedding Cheesecake FF. Because of the colder nights, her growth is not going to be as rapid right now compared to when nighttime temp's stay above the upper 50's to 60's℉, which is when she should really start to take off!
4/16- It rained yesterday and today, so Mother Nature took care of my watering for me!
4/18- There goes another week on the books for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower and I can't wait to see her take off with warmer weather that's not too far away! Hope to see you next week!

4/19- Here we go into the 4th week from seed for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower and despite some less than ideal weather, she's doing remarkably well! It's been cool so I'm only watering every 2-3 days right now.

4/21- The Wedding Cheesecake continues to do well with good color and vigor considering the cooler weather we're having right now.
4/23- I gave her a good watering today and am getting ready to get some straw to spread over her soil mound to help keep the soil moist and reduce watering frequency.
4/25- There's another week on the books and the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower from FastBuds is starting to come into her own now. The next few weeks should see her starting to take off hopefully! 😎🤞

4/26- Week Five... here we go!
The Wedding Cheesecake FF from FastBuds has her 6th set of leaves now and is looking nice and healthy. She has good color and her growth is beginning to pick up.
4/28- All is well with the Wedding Cheesecake FF. Today I checked the moisture of the soil and decided to water via the garden hose with well water along with a good drink of fresh Compost Tea.
4/30- Rain showers today took care of my watering duties! Yesterday I sprayed her down with Neem Oil to see if it helps to mitigate whatever is beginning to chew on her leaves.
5/2- Another week gone by and this lady is beginning to look like she might end up being a standout!

5/3- Week Six is here and the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower by FastBuds is on a mission!
Yesterday, I spread straw over the entire mound of soil and surrounding area to help keep the soil from drying out so fast and the watered with well water through a hose.
5/5- I'm noticing that something has taken a likening to the plant and is eating holes in her shade leaves. I went ahead and sprayed her down with Neem oil and will keep an eye out to try and determine what/who the culprit is.
5/7- Rain showers today handled the watering duties and all I did was to add some straw to a couple of bare spots on the mound.
5/9- I'm not seeing much in the way of any new damage to the leaves of the Wedding Cheesecake FF and I am continuing with the Neem oil preventative along with spreading some powdered cayenne pepper around the base of the plant to take care of any slugs that may think of trying a taste of cheesecake!
There's another week gone by for this lady. The weather is getting better by the week and her growth is responding to it. The next weeks should be fun! Stay Blessed!

5/10- Week Seven for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower and she is doing exceptionally well!
Our weather has been rather cool and damp, with showers on and off every 2-3 days which has taken care of my watering chores.
5/12- I top dressed the Wedding Cheesecake FF today with 2 cups of Gaia Green 4-4-4 All Purpose and 1/2g of worm castings. After top dressing and working the amendmants into the soil, I watered it in via garden hose with well water.
5/14- Today I decided to begin training the Wedding Cheesecake FF through the trellis net. After being topped previously, the two shoots are approximately 8" long now and when I went to spread them apart to feed them through the trellis squares I inadvertently broke one of them almost completely off where it joined the main stem. 5/17- The FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower is going into Week Eight from seed now and is looking like a champ!
I started brewing a batch of Compost Tea today which should be ready in 24-36 hours, after which I'll give the Wedding Cheesecake FF a treat!
5/19- I'm almost certain that slugs are the culprits of all of the leaf chewing that has occurred. I only wish I had figured it out sooner but, on the bright side, this is a photoperiod and she has plenty of time to recover so she'll be just fine. Once I figured out that I was facing a slug attack, I immediately deployed my favorite defense against slugs and other little soft bodied buggers and their larvae... Diatomaceous Earth. This stuff is death to fungus gnat larvae, along with other pest larvae and will ruin a slugs day quickly! If you look at diatomaceous earth under magnification, it resembles shards of glass and acts as the same on the soft bodies of pests either repelling, or killing them!
5/21- The Wedding Cheesecake is putting out a ton of new growth and has maintained her color and vigor. I have been training her branches through the trellis net as they get long enough and will probably be installing a second net before too long!
Our weather has dried out and warmed up so I'm watering daily with well water straight from the garden hose.
5/23- Eight weeks of growth for the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower and she just keeps looking better by the day... She's going to be a gorgeous plant! I cannot wait to see her in a month or so... can you?

5/24- Here we go into Week Nine for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower! She is looking amazing now and is really showing the vigor of this strain, with new growth appearing almost daily now.
It rained steadily yesterday and today, so my watering duty was taken care of by Mother Nature!
5/26- The diatomaceous earth that I spread around the Wedding Cheesecake FF along with spraying her down every other day with Neem Oil, and every three days with an organic insecticidal soap, seem to have taken care of the attacks on her leaves which has improved her vigor noticeably.
5/28- I watered the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake FF today via garden hose and continued to train her branches through the trellis net. At this point she's taken up about half of the trellis net and is constantly putting out new shoots!
5/30- Today I watered again as the weather has been really warm without any rain. I'll be getting ready to top dress her soon, probably in the next few days with some 4-4-4 and worm castings, then she'll really start to take off!

Today I top dressed the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower with 2 cups of Gaia Green 4-4-4, 1 cup of Down to Earth Bio Fish along with 1/2 gallon of worm castings. After top dressing and working the amendments into the soil by hand, I watered it in via garden hose with straight well water.
6/3- Rained hard today so I skipped watering the Wedding Cheesecake FF.
6/5- Today was sunny and warm. I watered the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower with straight well water from the garden hose.

6/9- Well, here we go into Week Eleven from seed for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower and she is looking MARVELOUS! 😍
Our weather is beautiful now with daytime high temp's in the 80's F without a lot of rain so I am watering her daily at sundown with approximately 5-7g of well water.
6/11- The FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake FF continues to explode with growth and I have been training her branches throughout the entire trellis net which she's now completely filled. I was going to install a second trellis net, but decided to just use the single net and do some HST on her to keep her canopy opened up.
6/13- I gave the Wedding Cheesecake FF a good watering today at sundown via the garden hose with straight well water.
I am planning on top dressing her in roughly 7-10 days from now with a blend of 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with some worm castings in anticipation of the start of flowering in the near future.
6/16- I watered today and also did a little canopy maintence, removing some leaves that were old and yellowing, along with some small shoots that would have only produced small larfy buds.
There's another week chalked up and it won't be long until this lady begins pre-flowering which will mark the start of the real excitement!

6/18- Week 12 and the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower from FastBuds is on a mission! The amount of growth happening right now can only be described as explosive, with new shoots appearing and existing branches going crazy with growth!
6/20- Our summer is here and we're under an early heat wave this week with daytime temp's hitting the mid to upper 90's ℉ with heat indexes in the low 100's ℉... in short, IT'S FNG HOT!🔥🔥🔥
I'm watering the Wedding Cheesecake FF daily now with 5-7g of straight well water from the garden hose. I'm watering at sundown so that the water will have some time to soak down into the soil before the heat evaporates it. The coating of straw that I previously spread over the soil has helped a lot as well.
6/22- The weather continues to relentlessly bake everything outside... many thanks for a good A/C!❄️
The daily watering continues and I also went ahead and removed a bunch of foliage that was below the trellis net.
6/24- Today I top dressed the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake FF with 2 cups each of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with 1 cup of Down To Earth Bio-Fish 7-7-2 and 1/2g of Wiggle Worm castings. After top dressing and working the amendments in by hand I replaced the straw coating over the soil and watered them in with 5g of straight well water via garden hose as usual.
There goes another week for the Wedding Cheesecake FF and it won't be long before she begins to show signs of pre-flowering!

6/26- Can you believe that it is now Week Thirteen since breaking ground for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower???
This lady has turned into a genuine beast of a plant and continues to remain healthy with great color and vigor!
6/28- Our weather is HOT now with heat indexes over 100℉ so I'm watering the Wedding Cheesecake FF every day with 5-8g of straight well water from the garden hose in the late afternoon once the plant is in the shade.
Other than the ever present leaf hoppers, which love the leaves but leave the flowers alone, and an occasional Japanese Beetle there aren't any serious pest issues currently. The Wedding Cheesecake FF continues to have excellent color and vigor and continues to add vertical growth!
6/30- The weather continues to be hot and humid and the daily watering continues. I also removed a few shade leaves that were below the canopy, as well as some in the middle of the plant that were blocking a lot of light to new shoots.

Our weather is continuing with exceptionally HOT days having heat indexes over 100℉ so I've maintained my regime of watering the Wedding Cheesecake FF every day with 5-8g of straight well water from the garden hose in the late afternoon once the plant is in the shade.
The FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower has taken the heat like a champ and is transforming into a very LARGE and bushy lady! She's at over 5 1/2 feet tall now and is still stretching! She has maintained excellent vigor, color and has shown great resistance to pests and other stressors!
7/6- Yesterday we had a thunderstorm pass through early in the day, which provided about an inch of rain in a short time. I went ahead and watered in the afternoon, but only gave the Wedding Cheesecake FF approx. 3g of water from the well.
7/8- The daily watering continues, as does our blistering hot🔥weather. All is well with the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower and today, after watering, I got under the trellis net and removed a bunch of shade leaves that were growing straight down through the net... bye bye!
7/10- Well the weather and the Wedding Cheesecake FF are both on fire! Hopefully the weather will cool down soon, and the Wedding Cheesecake FF will continue to explode!🤩 There's another week of veg for this beauty and I can't wait for the flowering to begin!

7/12- Week Fifteen is here, the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower has stretched tremendously, becoming a monster at approximetly 6' tall now and should be starting to flower anytime!😍
7/14- Our summer weather continues to be hot, although we do get a break from the heat when we're lucky enough to get some rain which also helps mitigate the daily watering.

7/20- Sixteen weeks in veg! This huge Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower by FastBuds has gone crazy and stretched over a foot in a week. There's still no sign of pre-flowering yet but I'm sure it won't be long now as our days are slowly becoming shorter with fall on its way.
It rained all day today, so I skipped watering at all today as the ground got well saturated.
7/22- Our weather continues to be really hot with daytime temp's in the upper 90's Fahrenheit. If it does not rain I am watering everyday with 10g of well water.

7/28- Can you believe we're going into the Seventeenth week of veg for the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower by FastBuds... UFB!🤯 This humongous girl had better get in gear and start flowering soon as her stretch has finally stopped and she's about as healthy as you could ask for!
We had passing showers all day today, which took care of my watering duties today.
7/30- The weather continues to be hot and dry, with only an occasional passing rain shower maybe once a week, and as a result the daily watering continues after sunset.
8/1- Currently, all I really have to do right now is regularly watering her, and checking daily throughout her foliage for yellow or dead shade leaves which I remove, so life is muy bueno!😍
8/3- Another hot week has come to a beautiful end and I have a feeling that the Wedding Cheesecake FF is getting ready to bust loose!

8/5- Whoo Hoo! The first week of flower is finally here for the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower from FastBuds and I am excited to say the least!🤩
8/7- We finally have some much needed rain on the way in the way of a tropical system which will be bringing on and off showers from today through the 9th. As a result of this gift from above I will not have to water the rest of this week!
8/9- After the storms passed, I did a damage assessment on the Wedding Cheesecake FF. Luckily, she suffered no broken branches. Some of her branches did get blown into others which created a tangled mess. I untangled her branches and got her as close to where she was before the storms as I could. I'm confident that once she gets some sunshine on her that she will snap right back to the beast that she is!
8/11- Today I went back to my daily watering schedule and also removed a bunch of yellowed shade leaves from inside the canopy as well as a half dozen small shoots that would only produce larf. I'm pleased to see that she's recovered from the wind damage she suffered a couple of days ago.
Well there's the first week of flower for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower 'Beast from the East', and I'm super stoked to see how this lady puts on weight over the course of the next month!

Weekly Updates:
8/13- Week Two of flower is here for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake FF, and I must say how thoroughly impressed I am so far with this strain! It has withstood attacks by insects (leaf hoppers and Japanese Beatles), intense heat and humidity (110℉ heat indexes with 90+% RH) and multiple splits of two of her main branches at the trunk, and yet has grown into the 'Beast from the East' reaching over EIGHT feet in height and spreading her branches out to an enormous SIX foot diameter! Our weather has cooled off after last weeks tropical system passed and it's nice to have a much needed break from the heat and humidity!
8/15- I am continuing to water daily with 5-8 gallons of well water from the garden hose.
Today, I top dressed the Wedding Cheesecake FF with 3 cups of Gaia Green 2-8-4 Power Bloom which I watered in with well water from the hose. I then applied 1/2 gallon of a nutrient mix I made up in 2 1/2g of well water consisting of: 1/4 cup Neptune's Harvest Seaweed(kelp) plant food and 2 1/2 tsp. of Plantonics Amino Bliss.
While I was under the canopy I also removed a bunch of scraggly small, thin branches that were anywhere from 12" to 20" long and would never had amounted to anything worthwhile.
8/17- We had a couple of passing light rain showers today which didn't provide a lot of rain so I went ahead and watered the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower with approximately 5g of well water just to make sure that she didn't get thirsty.
8/19- Thunderstorms yesterday and today have taken care of my watering duties and all I really had to do today is to remove some yellowed and dead leaves throughout the canopy.
There's the second week of flower on the books for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower and I anticipate that she'll really start to take off in the next week or two so hold on, this could be a wild ride!🤯

8/21- Here we go into Week 3 of flower for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower! This strain has become a beast and, now that she's flowering, she is going to be looking exceptionally sexy😍 over the course of the next few weeks so hold on, it's gonna be a wild ride fam!
8/23- Our weather has finally cooled down and the daylight has dropped to just over 13 hours now.
My daily watering campaign also continues with me giving the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower 5-8 gallons of well water from the garden hose.
8/25- Along with my daily watering, I am also constantly going through the plant and removing any dead or yellowed leaves. I'm also checking over the entire plant including the undersides of leaves looking for early signs of insect infestation or their eggs being laid, as well as looking for signs of deficiencies and as flowering progresses mold and fungus.🤢
8/27- With three weeks of flower over and done with, in the next 3-4 weeks we should see this lady really trans form as she adds weight onto her colas. My biggest concern is that she has relatively thin branches and, depending on how heavy her cola's become, they will more than likely need to be supported in some way to which I'm developing a solution.

The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚

Weekly Updates:
8/29- Week 4 of flower's here and the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower is really starting to turn it up a notch! She's forming some beautiful colas that hopefully will retain their current structure which will really help to ward off chances of mold forming as our weather has cooled off considerably
8/31- I have switched my watering schedule to mornings now with the Wedding Cheesecake FF in full flower, I want to do whatever I can to keep the nighttime moisture levels as low as possible in order to help prevent mold from forming on the flowers.
9/2- Well, today is 28 days in flower for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake FF and I couldn't be happier with how she's coming along! I'm continuing to water in the mornings on days that we do not get any substantial rain with well water via the garden hose.
9/4- Well fam, there's a month of flowering done for the Wedding Cheesecake FF and she is showing zero signs of slowing down any time soon! I'm praying that our weather stays cool and dry for as long as possible for this gorgeous lady! Until next week... Peace!

After having such tremendous success growing their Gorilla Cookies Fast Flower outdoors last year, I've decided to run another of their fast flowering strains outdoors this year... Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower!

9/6- Well, Week Five of flower is here and the Wedding Cheesecake FF by FastBuds is rockin-n-rollin! Well fam, the 'Beast From The East' is going strong, and so far has not encountered any issues with any bud rot but is showing signs of the beginnings of Septoria. Luckily, this far into flower it shouldn't be too much of a concern at this point. This late in our growing season I always worry about Boytris, especially with cultivars that have really dense and tightly grouped flowers as our weather is now turning cooler and wetter.
9/8- I'm continuing to water the Wedding Cheesecake FF in the mornings on days that we do not get any substantial rain with well water via the garden hose. Today I went through the plant and removed a bunch of old dead leaves, along with any shade leaves that were totally yellow. I did not water today as we had a good amount of rain yesterday and the soil is still really moist.
9/10- My daily routine of watering, removing dead foliage and checking over the flowers continues. The aroma coming off of the Wedding Cheesecake FF is really loud now and you can definitely pick up some subtle hints of her Cheese lineage in it!
9/12- With Five weeks of flowers now behind her, the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower only has 2-3 more weeks to go (weather permitting) and she's on track to be an enormous yielding plant! I can't wait!!!

9/14- Here we go into the sixth week of flower for the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower by FastBuds and she's on a mission! The Wedding Cheesecake FF is going strong and is continuing to stack her frosty flowers. She also now has a very pronounced 'cheesy' aroma coming off of her!
9/16- My daily routine of watering, removing dead foliage and checking over the flowers continues.
9/18- I'm checking the trichomes on the Wedding Cheesecake FF every other day now to try and dial in the harvest time for this beast.
9/20- I checked the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower's trichomes today and they are getting super close to ideal so I will be keeping a close eye on them and anticipate her being ready to harvest within a week!
Week 6 is on the books and the Wedding Cheesecake FF is just about finished up. Next week is looking to be 'the one' for this incredible cultivar from FastBuds, I hope to see you there!

9/22- Week Seven of flower is here and the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower is in her final week before harvest fam!
9/24- Our weather has dramatically cooled off and is a lot drier now with daytime RH running 40% and around 60% at night. I am checking the trichomes daily now and it will be any day now for the call to be made.
9/26- This is looking like the last day for this fine lady to be watered. The trichomes on the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower are 90% white now, with the other 10% either clear or amber which is perfect!
9/27- This is it... CHOP DAY!
The Grow:
This was an outdoor grow, although I started the Wedding Cheesecake FF (Fast-Flowering) indoors in early spring as the weather was still too cold to put her outside (nighttime temp's were dipping regularly into the 30's℉).
The plan was simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she was moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I had already setup with slow release dry amendments and inoculated with beneficial microbes, followed up with top dressings every 3-4 weeks with amendments and worm castings! She was a thirst and hungry girl and grew and enormous trunk as well as having a root system that was expansive! The Wedding Cheesecake FF grew for a total of 182 days from breaking ground to harvest, with 55 days of it in flower.
