SnakeGrow 27.05.24 Welcome to week 3 of growth... After last week, I'm quite satisfied; the stunted growth has apparently transitioned into relatively normal growth thanks to the new lamp... In the meantime, there's a pair of leaves with 1 finger, one with 3 fingers, and the new green (second one with 3 fingers) is present. The little plant is really putting in a lot of effort. Later, I’ll check if it needs watering, and I'll post more photos this evening. Values are 25°C at 65% RH. I'm happy that it's going well this week, except for the stupid fungus gnats...... 😊😉 Edit: added midnight photos, the little plant is doing well. 02.06.24 On the last day of week 3 of growth, I'm satisfied and relieved; the little flower has remarkably overcome the stagnation with the help of the new lamp, she seems strong and is really getting going... I will only water when the soil is completely dry, or as late as possible, to make life as difficult as possible for the pesky fungus gnats until hopefully hungry-aggressive pitbull-panther nematodes take care of the larvae on Wednesday and hopefully end the haunting as quickly as possible... So far, so good, let's continue tomorrow with week 4 of growth...

Bis auf die bescheuerten A...lochtrauermücken startet Blümchen gesund und munter in die vierte Woche , Werte 26,4°C bei 61% RLF stabil . Nachdem die neue Lampe die anfängliche Stagnation überwunden half , und alles gut lief , mache ich mich jetzt daran , erstmal die Schädlinge zu beseitigen. Gelbtafeln sorgen sowohl dafür , zu erkennen wie stark bzw ob ein Befall vorliegt , als auch dafür , die adulten Tiere etwas abzufangen . Für die Larven allerdings helfen die Gelbtafeln nicht , da müssen Nematoden her . Diese beseitigen das Larven-Problem relativ schnell und sehr nachhaltig . Außerdem werde ich entsprechend das Gießen etwas anders timen , zu feuchte Erde begünstigt Trauermücken-Befall . SnakeGrow 10.06.24 Welcome to week 5! Blümchen has grown endlessly, we're starting the new week at 23cm. I’m starting to believe that this could actually work out 😄. The values are at 26°C with currently 55% humidity, Blümchen is also getting thirsty, she’s drinking about 0.5-1.0L in 24 hours. No pests are visible anymore, as a precaution I will be adding nematodes again this week... So, all in all, I’m optimistic and curious to see what this week brings... Edit: My nose didn't deceive me, there's a faint smell! Added photos from the afternoon and just before midnight. I'm not sure, but I suspect that Blümchen is entering pre-flowering. I’ll take a look with the magnifying glass tomorrow. 11.06.24 In the morning, Blümchen is thirsty again, watered with 0.75L (0.2g/L Greenhouse Feeding BioEnhancer). The side shoots are getting longer, everything looks good 😍. The flower sites are getting bigger, and it's slowly starting to smell more pronounced. The thirst is still quite large, watered with 1 L of water and BioEnhancer (0.2g/L). Now I'm so curious about how it will go on 😁 Edit: removed some sun leaves for more light in the lower levels 😊. Added evening photos. The buds are putting in the effort 😍 18.06.24 No special features, Little Flower is growing and thriving. Values are stable, so far so good. 19.06.24 Little Flower is spreading out, the buds are slowly getting bigger. I still need to train the top with LST, meanwhile the side branches are leveling out in height. Overall, we have 35 cm at the highest point. Nothing noteworthy, values stable..... 28.06. Did a heavy defoliation to get more light and air to the flowers. Otherwise, no changes, values stable... Blümchen is growing and thriving, she's currently drinking 1L of water daily with 0.2g/L Greenhouse Feeding BioEnhancer. The buds are getting sweeter, it looks really good. Values are stable. I'm excited for the week... Edit: Part 1 of the news just arrived, small peat pellets; wonder what that's going to be 😂😂🤔 02.07.24 Look at dem buds 👀! New pictures added, otherwise no big news. I'll be watering later (1L). Slowly, this is starting to look like real weed 😂😂 03.07.24 Today Blümchen smells great, delicious delicious. Blümchen drank 1L of water with BioEnhancer. On July 7th, Blümchen still smells great. At the end of the third week of flowering, I'm satisfied and hoping for the next two weeks. In the evening, I did a bit of light LST, bending some branches down and to the side so that more buds can get light. SnakeGrow 08.07.24 Hello and welcome to week 4 of flowering and overall week 9... The LST-Light I did yesterday didn't bother Blümchen at all. I pulled some branches down a bit and partially to the side (thick floral wire and string, some holes at the top of the fabric pot). I hope this allows even more light to reach even more buds. Otherwise, I'm currently reducing the light, half an hour less every two days, until I reach 12/12. I estimate this week and next week, then we'll slowly look towards harvest. From now on, I will only water with plain water, possibly adding nutrients if necessary. Blümchen smells like real weed with lemon and slightly resinous-woody notes. All in all, it looks really good for the first run! I'm curious to see how it goes... Grow the shit out of it 😁😁😁 09.07.24 Removed a few leaves, otherwise not much done. Watered 1L of water (finally added the last nematodes for final security). SnakeGrow 22.07.24 Welcome to the 6th week of flowering/11th overall week. Thanks to the thunderstorm yesterday over Hamburg, there's water in the basement again 😩😤, resulting in almost 70% humidity. If it doesn't get better, Blümchen will have to move to the kitchen. We'll see 😕😌. Otherwise, everything is great, the buds seem quite firm, are pretty sticky, and emit a nice smell. The trichomes are slowly turning cloudy, but I still need to wait a bit. I'm very excited 😁 Grow the shit out of dem Weeds🙌💪👍 23.07.24 This run is slowly coming to an end, piece by piece the trichomes are becoming milky-cloudy. We'll see 😁😁😁💪👌 24.07.24 Today the decision has been made (influenced by the high humidity in the basement; damn broken gutters): there will now be a dark cycle of 36-48 hours, and then Blümchen will be harvested on Friday or Saturday. After careful inspection with a magnifying glass, the trichomes are about 60-70% milky, and some amber ones are visible. For the last 10 days, I've only been watering with pure water, and I haven't watered in the last 48 hours. I'm curious to see what happens 🙏, the next update will be on harvest day. SnakeGrow 27.07.24 Now it's time, Blümchen has been harvested 😨, lightly trimmed while still wet and weighs in at 100g wet weight (trimmed leaves: 8.8g wet weight). I'm really satisfied with the result, especially for the first and somewhat problematic run 💪👌👍. Plus, there's the low-effort approach, and for that, I think Blümchen looks pretty good. Now it's drying, then the buds will be removed from the stems and cured in a jar. The smoke report will follow. Overall, I've managed to get 14.8g of buds (medium density) and about 2.5g of sugar leaves (Butter???) from this first, somewhat bumpy run. The high was a bit too heady at first (after the initial 4-day drying), but now the effect is slowly becoming pleasantly balanced. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my Northern Lights and will definitely come back to this strain a few more times. In the tent with good conditions, there's surely more to come...
