First time growing! Super excited to see what i can do.
I started both seeds in small cups of filtered water after about 16 hours i went and poked them down under for about another 4 hours. Upon that check seeds were cracking, so I took them and put them in 5 gal fabric pots. The water i used for soak was used to moisten up the pots, left them with domes. Heat has been in the 70s with rh in the 60s.
Not a whole lot to say other than watering when dirt is dry. So far id say everything has been going pretty smoothly. Keeping my water at 6.5ph and trying to keep around a 60rh with 70-75f throughout the day and night temps down to 70 with the occasional drop sometimes to 68😎
This week was basically same as last week. I started watering more each time, only thing new to report is good growth to me at least. I did order a new light thats on the way and will be here on 5-22. Going from a vs1000 to vs4000, excited for that i expect to see more growth faster then possibly. Also ordered more dirt and have gaia green on the way for flower.
Upgraded my light this week from 100 watt to the 400 watt. Plants going alright started some lst at the end of the week, since im new i wasnt sure how big to let them get before starting to mess with them. Still basically just watering when needed and at a ph of 6.5.
5-31 This week I'm doing some lst still. I may have made some mistakes with the purple lemonade, it seems to be going into flower pretty good and just dont seem like it should yet. Forbidden Runtz is coming along really nice and bushy ill have to update heights and such. Going to be doing a feeding at the end of the week with gaia green bloom and all purpose. I want to do a dose of recharge as well, and i believe i need to do some calmag this week.
This week we started going into flower. Forbidden runtz took a hit to some nitrogen tox, at least im pretty sure thats what happened. Other than that it was a smooth week.
Fun week, things are starting to smell! The forbidden runtz has a fruity smell with some funk on it then at the end its a little candy almost like a gummy or something. The purple lemonade dosent have a lot of smell yet but its there, I imagine as it frost up it'll come out more.
Im really loving how she turned out and will for sure be growing this one again. She has a real nice lemon smell to her. Just look at those colors you really cant beat the bag appeal.
It was my birthday when i harvested my purple lemonade. Ive tried to upload my harvest so many times and it just wont work so im trying again. This was all done on my pc and my pictures are on my phone, I'll try and add them later on.
This one really kind of stole the show at the end in my opinion. She was so stinky and frosty, the smells at first were a fruity funk. After curing for 2 weeks now going on week 3 the smell is straight gassy funk, some creamy fruity smells as well, its like the scene from pineapple express you just wanna live in the grove bag with it.
This girl got harvested about a week after the purple lemonade, but I was having major issues getting my post to save so i patiently waited around to try again. Finally got it to work so the update isnt as good as when all of it was fresh in my mind unfortunately. Out of the two the forbidden runtz was the frosty girl from visual inspection without a scope or anything. I've let her cure for two weeks now and shes a tasty one, not completely ready yet, so ill update again once she is.
Good strain selection. These are in my list too. That purple really kisses my eyes. Had the banana purple punch that also was deep purple. Love it 😍 Happy smoking my friend
