First of all: A big thank you to G13 Labs and Delicious Seeds for providing such strong genetics (Pineapple Chunk was a Freebie though) !! All of the beans sprouted ! Didn’t expected that so it makes me even more happy to have selected these beans over plenty of other strains that where on my list for this years outdoor season. After trying a lot of different strains outdoor i chose PE#2 and ER this year primarily for their so much claimed real strong characteristics to be not affected by mold and other diseases. So let’s find out ! The plants will be pre grown indoors for about four to six week and will then be put outdoor directly in the ground ..
So far so good for week one ... Gotta mention again that i am very impressed by how healthy and equal all of the sprouts are. They are sittting in half and half compost/seedling soil and seem to like it a lot ! Was a bit worried that the compost might be a little bit to much, but no, all good. In comparison to last years outdoor grow which started off much more unequal in terms of germination and all over healthiness of the seedling, this years contenders do so much better. Need to underline this because i had some really popular and also pricey seeds to step into the race (Ethos, Hexo, Sweet Seeds) and they are just not comparable to the seeds i got from G13 Labs and Delicious Seeds. I say this because i was pretty unsure if both of the breeders do put out any real fire genetics (sorry for being ignorant). But with what i see now its its just satisfying to see that seeds who cost a third of what i usually spent looking way more healthy than compared to the more expensive beans !
If anyone has any experience in growing one of these strains please let me know, would love to exchange experiences on this topic .. beso :)
So its not yet really beginning of week three but its just two days left and i have to leave for 4-5 days so i thought its better to take the pictures today ... Still everything is looking superb but there is one plant that starts to mutate a little bit after developing the first set of real leaves but thats gonna be fine. And there is one plant (Picture 4) that somehow seems to have topped her self directly after the first sprouting but its looking really good ! So next update will be on the weekend, happy growing to all ya ...
Still all good in Week 3 1/2 ! Plants are looking super healthy even though i always need to leave them alone for almost a week (its a weekend holiday home) they seem to thrive with only 600ml of water/plant for 4-5 days. Started this week to use Plagron's Start Up for the first time instead of Alga Grow and Rhizotonic (+ Plagron Sugar which i will keep feeding). Wanted to try it out with a one bottle solution instead of 2-3 different additives for the growth phase, lets see. Guess i will top them today for the first time, especially the Pineapple Express needs to be topped twice to not get out of control hight wise so its already time now for the first topping cause the second one will be shortly before they move out ..
Second topping went very well too and now its just one week before they go out in the wild. Growth wise they almost stretched double in size in one week so they seem to be very willing to perform. Only thing that i recognized is that the Eleven Roses doesnt like the same amount of Nutrients so much compared to the Pineapple Express but thats how it is. Took them out here and there for some hours of full bright sunlight and some strong wind, they been praying so beautiful, cant wait to see them later on outside ..
@Hattiwatti, Yeah it was a Freebie coming along with the rest of my order. Very happy to try this one out together with the rest of these fruity gems !
