may the force be with you. what a nice date for starting a new grow. let´s hope that northern light will germ.
i start in my greenhous for the first two weeks and then will bring them outdoor.
update: it took almost 5 days for the seed to get through the soil.
happy to see it finaly
after germination, which took 6 days, the plant is doing well. i put it in the sun for up to 10 hours, at night it comes back into the greenhouse. i started very early with the LST, as the aim is to make it grow very bushy and tall.
we are entering the second week. i have decided to repot the little one. she is now in a 10 litre pot. i am trying out a new substrate mix. 70% biobizz all-mix and 30% expanded clay. she's also getting canna rhizotonic and biobizz grow. i'm not doing any precise fertilising, more like guessing. let's see how she develops. :)
the third week has begun. so far she is doing well. she has been outside for a few days now. growth is slow. but it is probably due to the lack of sun in germany :)
we are entering the 4th week. it has rained a lot, sometimes very heavily. the plants are growing very slowly. there is not enough sunshine at the moment. good things take time.
the plant is now starting to grow in height. the german summer is still a long time coming. it is raining a lot. the plants are in a pot, there is no waterlogging and excess water can run off. i am holding back on fertilising at the moment, as all the rain washes it away quickly. maybe i will start with the LST next week.
we are entering the 6th week. slowly the little one is growing towards the sun. i did a first topping and started with LST. maybe it was too early with the topping? we will see. the sun is shining more again and the temperatures are slowly rising.
the 7th week. i decided to do the first topping. she took it well. and the new branches are thriving. i have also started LST training. she has got used to the environment and is finally showing the power i expected from her. the first weeks were just too changeable and sometimes too cold.
she tolerated the first topping well. i had initially used LST, but have now decided against it and will try FIMing on her. i'm trying to develop a nice bush.
and another week has passed. she is developing very well. she tolerated the FIMing very well and she is getting really bushy. i have changed the fertiliser from biobizz-grow to biobizz-fishmix.
grow grow grow my darling :) she has grown wonderfully in the last few weeks and she is getting nice and bushy, just as i had planned. i will switch back to the biobizz grow fertiliser. the fish mix attracts too many flies and other insects.
the weather in germany is still totally changeable. temperatures from 10 degrees at night to 30 degrees during the day. and lots of rain. she is doing really well and you can see that she is made for this weather. 💪😃 i stopped LST and let it grow as it likes.
summer is slowly coming to germany. this beautiful plant is growing tall and bushy. unfortunately, it is not yet showing any signs of flowering. harvest is planned for the end of october or mid november. so there is still plenty of time for her to grow. she is vigorous and healthy.💪😋
it grows and grows and grows. it looks very healthy and strong. the changeable weather doesn't bother it at all. unfortunately, there are still no clear indications of its sex. it gets a nice nutrient mix from biobizz root and grow.
when you grow a feminised photoperiodic outdoors you have to bring time and patience. she is growing and is strong. still no sign of sex. she hasn't really had much stress, so i'm not worried about her turning male. i'll just keep growing her. her sister, RQS Power Flower is also doing very well. both have been given a homemade fertiliser made from aquafaber, coffee grounds and banana peel. they liked it very much.
another week has passed and it is growing and thriving excellently. there has been a lot of sunshine and occasionally the necessary rain from above. no pistols to be seen yet
and on it goes. i don't have much to report. due to some very hot days she has been given alg-a-mic and acti-vera from BIOBIZZ for better nutrient uptake. she has grown another few centimetres, looks healthy and strong.
the last week was really sunny again and the temperatures are also constant. it is growing and growing. it has now reached a height of 100 cm. it has become beautifully bushy. i am really looking forward to seeing when it finally starts flowering.
it stands stable in the wind, withstands hot days and continues to grow. but unfortunately still no signs of flowering. she still has 2 months before i move. i hope she makes it. she gets fertiliser every 2 days.
it has now clearly gone into bloom. really nice pistols and if it continues like this, it will become really thick buds. it has got a few yellow leaves but that's not bad. it has also grown a few centimetres
and here we go. another week has passed and she is still doing very well. the stem is nice and thick and the buds are also getting thicker. there is not really much to report. we are at about 12 hours of daylight. some leaves have got an autumnal colouring
the buds are getting thicker and she is starting to smell. unfortunately we have had very mild temperatures in the last few days. below 10 degrees at night. so far she has taken it well. some of the leaves have got a nice red autumn colour. i am cutting off some yellow leaves now and again. she only gets water once or twice a week and fertiliser once a week.🙌
she is slowly getting a complete dark red autumn colouring. it looks really nice. the buds are getting thicker and the smell more intense. but she still has a few weeks to go. luckily no mould or anything like that so far.
the scent was mega good and so was the taste. on the whole i am very satisfied with the plant, resistant and good yield. so far i have only had good experiences with royal queens seeds.
