This will be my first time attempting to grow cannabis! It is legal in my state, however I live in an apartment that has very strict rules about trying to grow and how they still see it as illegal, so I can't have an indoor setup just yet unfortunately and cant grow outside either, way too many eyes. Luckily, my dad has a place nearby that we've decided to setup a small Greenhouse that I found on Amazon. So day 1 I put each individual seed into a plastic water bottle filled about 1/3 with filtered water that had sat out for 24 hrs. hopefully to de-chlorinate and then labeled them and let them sit in dark area for 16 hrs. I came back after 16 hours and the seeds sank with one little tap, so then I poured the seeds into different napkins, making sure they weren't soaked but fairly moist for each seed and folded them up and put in a tupper-ware to sit for 48 hrs. This was on a Thursday morning and I planned to plant them Saturday morning. Saturday morning I built the Greenhouse, set up the pots and then opened the tupper-ware. Each seed germinated, but I feel like I might be off to a bad start. Every seed had the root coming out, but they also had what looked like fuzzy mold growing on the root. The root began to stick to the paper towel as well, so I tried to gently remove them and just plant carefully, I'm hoping that they can handle it and not die off immediately. The one that worries me a little is the Peyote Gorilla, a little piece broke off on the paper towel. I wish I had taken pictures but in the slight hurry to get everything done I just tossed the seed in and I'm hoping for the best. I'm going to go check them out on Monday and I'll take pictures of the Greenhouse setup.

Went and checked on it Monday and nothing has broken the surface yet. It was cloudy on and off so probably didn't get much sunlight. Gave the soil a good mist in case it needed any water. Tuesday I left the plant alone in hopes something would happen. Came back today (Wednesday) and still no sign of anything breaking the soil. Seeds are possibly in extreme shock from being pulled from paper towel and being in a tupperware for 48 hours creating an almost mold enviroment, I'd be suprised if they are not already dead. I ordered more seeds just in case this first attempt is a bust and have to start over. My question is, will I have to use new soil? This soil was pretty expensive, Coast of Maine, and some Living Soil mixed in. Or can I just plant the new seeds in the same soil as the seeds that never sprouted. Will it cause issues in the future? Who knows, maybe something will sprout by the end of the week, but at this point I doubt it. Not giving up though.

Week 2 since planting: Last week right before I left after not seeing any seedlings pop up, my older sister decided to lend me a hand since apparently she has successfully grown a few cannabis plants just for fun, since she doesn't smoke, but enjoys growing plants in general. We decided to dig down and see if there was any sign of life from the seedlings and it looked to her as if they could make it. So she made a crater around the seedling and added more water. My problem according to her was my soil was nowhere near wet enough. So we took the entire fabric pot and dipped it into the 5 gallon bucket of pH and dechlorinated water and got it nice and wet and did all the pots this way and did the crater around the seed and added more water. The very next day she said 1 seed had already broken the surface! She said she expected the rest to possibly pop up over the weekend, and surprisingly 1 more did! I'm happy to see any life from what I though was a botched grow. Now hopefully we can just keep it alive throughout its life cycle to harvest and I tried to buy all the soil that would prevent me from having to add anything to make the plants flower and bloom, like liquid nutrients, trying to keep it organic as possible. Today I went into the Greenhouse to get some pictures finally, and my first time seeing the plants since they surfaced. 😀 The plants look great in my opinion, but i guess its still too early to tell. In the chaos of us moving plants around last week some tags got lost. So, I'm pretty sure the ones that are growing right now are the California Snow and Grapefruit. I guess we'll see as they start to show their traits. Hopefully the rest of the seedlings pop up by the end of the week and next week they can all start growing strong through the vegetative into flowering. Sprayed some Grower's Ally Crop Defender 3 around the perimeter inside to keep any unwanted pests outside the tent and some near the plant and on the soil to keep pests away. I have a small solar powered dual fan system, very weak, maybe 1-2 mph wind gust, but enough to keep any bugs from wanting to land near the plants. I checked the soil pH and it seems to be right at 6.8 Didn't water today, sister said she will water them tomorrow. I'm glad she came along and decided to help me out!

Week 3-4 Got plenty of rain over the weekend so I'm sure I won't have to water for a few days. The plants have a nice natural canopy of trees above the greenhouse and we decided to take the roof part of the greenhouse off so the plants can breathe and get adequate air flow. I have the fans blowing on them to keep air circulating to strengthen the stem and to keep pests from landing. The sun makes the plants look yellow in the video, they are not yellow anywhere just to be clear. They seem to be doing great but this is my first rodeo and my sister who has experience seems to think they are coming along nicely and should do just fine. Let's hope so 🤞

Week 3.5 Been pretty warm during the day with rain at night Haven't had to water them in a while due to the rain The Cali Snow has shutes starting to develop, hopefully I'll be able to see pre-flowers soon The greenhouse has no roof so it's getting plenty of fresh air and I have some solar fans going So far so good 😊 Also, for the record, the Peyote Gorilla & Smoothie never sprouted more than likely my fault, so that's why I moved on with the Banana Berry Punch and Alien vs Triangle The AVT's may have experienced a little shock being transplanted into separate pots. My sister started them out as seeds in the same pot and then carefully put them in separate pots last week. They seem to be doing just fine, but it may have slightly stunted their growth this week, I'm sure they will catch up. We'll see 👀

Came in on Monday this week after first round of feeding the Friday before and the plants had all gone into full flower mode. They seem to be doing pretty good! It's been pretty hot this week but I feed just water every other day or when the soil is dry and feed them fertilizer every other watering with 1/4-1/2 strength
