I think my plants are producing buds very slow, I added some nutrients I bought from atami 2 days ago and I hope they'll work well with the plants. The big plant seems to still vegetate and the pistols it has shown are almost ready to pop white hair. Although I'm worried that this one may not be an auto. I really need some help on what to do now because I can't even tell when to start flush. Is there a chance the upper buds on the BD are ready before the low ones? If so what do I do?

Question 1: Is the fertilizer I use the problem for one of the leaves dying or the scenario of me throwing a bit on it?

Hello @yungchrist59 ! Geia sou man ! I will disagree with the rest. That's not a nutrient burn. These are iron and sulfur deficiencies. Both of these deficiencies come most commonly from bad quality soil ( and your soil looks bad ) and over water. What kind of soil you use? Also what kind of fertilizer you use? If it's an organic slow release dry fertilizer it can't burn the plant despite the fact that it doesn't look burned. Hello guys, should I start feeding the plants and if so what NPK values should I use? I replaced the plastic bags with plastic plates so I can collect the water and throw it. Since I added the plates though, the soil stays wet for much longer that it did, thank you!

Hey there, so 5 weeks should be enough time for the nutrients in the soil to be used up. Some people will use dry fertilizers and amendments as top dressing, and others will use bottled nutrients. But regardless of style you'll want to start adding in a micronutrient that has all your low levels of much needed trace elements. Then find the grow nutrient you like, and this could have NPK numbers like 6-4-4 like fox farm or vary a touch, but seek out the ones which have the slightly higher N. Then being an autoflower variety you may want to start at half dose or less just to check how the plant responds. Then when flowering starts coming you'll want to load up with a nutrient higher in the opposite- P and K. Such as the Tiger Bloom from FF is 2-8-4. You can find many that are extremely higher P K like open sesame which is 5-45-19. Just look out for the shift from high N to high P K and youll do fine. Happy growing ✌️

The BD stayed short and I also think it produces the buds slowly. The big plant is still on veg but if not an auto like the other ones then it surely is female. How much should I water them and should I use the nutrients again? Also what lamp height(125W CLF)? Am I close to flush

Hey YungC so usually most plants will develop their flowers at different rates and speeds too. I think many things can affect this like the light placement and distance giving it higher intensity in one spot versus another. Some people such as Ed Rosenthal mentions how we occasionally have to harvest a plant in section in order to get the whole plant to mature. In answer to flushing and watering, your plants still have a lot of white pistils so I would suggest you continue feeding them, with water often the bigger a plant is the more it drinks, so i would just try to water the soil evenly and then watch for how quickly it dries and that should give you an idea to how much the plants are consuming. I wouldn't stop feeding until you see more pistils discolor and curl in and then trichromes swell and change. With the cfls they can still remain pretty close, I think 4-8 inches, if you can have many bulbs surrounding the plants that's preferable to a couple strong ones on top. I hope this helps some, good luck with the flowering and harvesting. ✌️

@CRiSPrGrow, Damn, could you recommend me any good lights at an affordable price? The CLF is 150w should I change position?

@CRiSPrGrow, I didn't mean that I know I am close to flushing, it was a question. Although are you sure the Blue Dream will need 8 weeks? It produces alot of orange moustaches already.

@yungchrist59, you too... just one question : are you sure you are close to flushing ? how can you know that ?

@CRiSPrGrow, You're right, maybe I switch to HPS because if a decent LED costs more than 60$ then I can't afford it yet :/. Thanks a lot for your help bro wish you the best on your next grows!

Hi shortcut.... to young to much nutes..... Longer version, your seedlings dont need a feeding before the 4th node appears( around week 3 and 4) your soil provides enough food until then. Your fertiliser has to high percents of everything its meant for the final strech in 2nd or 3rd week of flowering. Put it away and buy another with around 4- percent N... and then start with 25 percent of the recommend amount. more to read in the comments. Be blessed and happy growing btw. what kind of soil are you using=? having a smaller budget is ok but not in saving in the soil^^

@yungchrist59, I would recommed you to buy"good" soil, then you are free from problems for 4 weeks and longer. Biobizz/ plagrom got very nice products

Soil is a little hot. If they die, toss it out. Also, I think your light is a little too close. Might want to back that off a few inches and put a fan blowing gently at the light to move the heat away from tops. Good luck!

hey man i dont really bother with veg nutes for autos, you can probably wait another week or two then start on quarter strength bloom nutes at 3-8-8 or something similar , the main thing is getting some enzymes to go with it - you're doing well as it is though, and what's wrong with a plain water soil grow, you'll get great results either way ! hope this helps my friend ! 🚀

Would be happy with a medium yield, I don't expect too much from the first time as it is mostly done to gain experience as well.
