They are under 250w hps now.
They seem to love the root booster.
I am going to top them in week 4 and maybe another time in week 5 or 6.
I love them already!
EDIT: already topped them on December 5th because of their good growth
Start of week 4 for my Cluster Bombs.
I read they would yield amazingly if they are topped - so I decided to top them 2 times.
First topping in week 3, then maybe in week 5 another time. They will go into flower when my current run is out of my tent.
I think it will be in the next 2 weeks.
Week 5 starts and they will be in the new 11L pot.
Good growth and I have done the second topping. They will recover fastly and next week they will be ready for flowering.
Beginning of veg-week 6.
Last week I selected the 3 healthiest plants and decided to do a little LST experiment.
The ladies got transplanted into new 18L pots and now have to build roots fast.
Maybe I indicate in 2 weeks. Let's see how they react to my LST technique.
I got myself a new playing tool for Christmas:
This time I will add a far-red custom built light to my flowering cycle to go with 13,5/10,5 flowering. This is gonna be awesome guys!
Week 1 of flowering:
My new 9watts Far-red led panel is now a component in my grow.
It will be on till 15 minutes after my main light went off - So it simulates a sunset.
It allows me to go for a 13,5 / 10,5 light cycle what makes my buds thicker and will increase my yield.
I defoliated the plants a last time and now they are big enough to fill my grow area when they stretch again in flowering.
If there are any questions feel free to ask!
Start of flowering week 2:
They streched a lot. They have a really nice structure due my LST technique. This. Week they will start budding - 13/11 looking good so far!
This week I added a total of 100 extra watts to the lower area of the plants.
I use 2 COB led chips with 50watts each to power up the buds under the canope.
They reacted very well on the first booster feeding and they have produced their first good looking buds.
Stay updated, they gonna get huge!
The budsize got increased a lot this week!
One plant almost buckled itself because of their large colas.
Now I see that my time and effort will pay off - the visual quality of the buds looks really good. The smell is heavenly and really strong now - A spicy, not so sweet, Aroma.
The next 2 weeks they get the full nutrient plan to be thick enough and then there is the flushing week.
The budsize is unbelievable at this point.
My new 3x3 Watts Far-red led panel totally helped for going with a solid 13/11 light cycle.
Now the less mature buds have to be ready in about 2 weeks and I would be totally happy with this grow.
This week I got a little nutrient burn, but I already gave them normal plain water.
This post starts the last 2 weeks of my grow.
The budsize doesn't increase anymore so I decided to start giving just water.
Once this week, it will be at Wednesday I feed PowerZyme a last time to get rid of used salts in my soil.
In total, the grow was a blessing! My vegetative stage was interesting because I tryed out topping and LST for the first time.
I first topped in week 4 and they got their second topping in week 5. Both weeks they recovered very fast and built new nodes.
After their transplantation into 18L pots I initiated flowering in week 8 - I also added a 3x3watts Far-Red additional light to my quantum board for less needed dark-hours.
In week 9 they got really big and started their bud-production in week 10.
I let them flower till the end of week 15 (8 weeks in flowering) because their trichomes are just perfect for me
- A little amber and the rest ist milky colored.
All in all I got crazy 401grams of dry buds out of my 3 plants.
I soak them in normal tap water with pH 6.1 for 24 to 48 hours, when the roots are approx. 1cm out of the seed I put them in a box with a wet paper for about 12 to 24 hours. After that I use coco jiffys.Works great.
