Soaked seed in a glass of water for about 15 hours. Was hoping to plant it right after but I'm deciding to use different soil so it will have to wait until tomorrow.
Two weeks old now and doing well. It does have some strange looking leaves. The leaves coming in now are looking more normal. Only giving water at 6.5 ph as needed.
This week went pretty good until I discovered some fungus gnats in the soil. I went out to Walmart and bought some garden safe houseplant bug killer to use. Sprayed the top layer of soil and hopefully that will help. There must have been a problem in the soil I bought because it has not been watered very much.
Other than that she's growing well. The branches look strong but weird to me. Almost seems like the main stem split in two directions.
I also did some lst for the first time with some wooden skewers.
The first signs of flowering have begun and I'm really happy with how this is going. I've still only given water at 6.3 ph and I see no signs it needs anything extra right now.
Still looking great! I have been doing lst every few days trying to keep everything as even as possible. I also started her on some bloom nutrients today. I didn't add anything in veg as the ocean forest soil took care of that for me.
Still growing pretty good. Feeding lightly and keeping everything tied down for even light to the buds. She gets water about every two to three days. Had a lot of fun with lst on this one since the first one I let grow naturally for the most part. I have some white spots showing up and now in the process of doing some research to address this.
The buds are starring to fill in a bit and the smell is coming with it. Still battling the spots showing up which I think may be a deficiency of calcium due to ph being too low. I keep putting 6.8-7 ph water and getting 5.8 from the runoff for some reason. Hopefully it'll get back in the safe zone soon.
Well I'm not sure if this plant is sick or it is in the end of its life or . Either way the buds look great. Super dense, sticky, and smells of a strong bowl of froot loops. I'll be harvesting it this weekend. The trichomes look cloudy I just haven't seen any amber on the buds yet. I'm still happy with it as it's better than my first grow.
Well it wasn't quite ready but I had to chop her because she wasn't doing very well. It looked really good then almost overnight things went south. I still managed to get some nice dense buds.
Pretty impressed considering this seed came from a headshop close to my house.
