Hello fellow growers!
It is over a year since my last grow and I have missed it.
This is my 2nd run of Pineapple Express Auto from Barneys Farm. The seed is over 4 year old and was stored in a fridge.
Started germination with a paper towel in a plastic bag during full moon phase. Took 3 days to pop the seed. Placed it in a wet cocos cube and kept for some days under dome, spraying regularly. Then placed the cube in the substrate, kept spraying the plant and substrate with pre-growing solution.
No visible roots from substrate pot yet. Beside of that general progress looks OK.
Keep spraying plant and substrate regularly still with pre-growing solution.
Plan to use only one lamp during growing phase. Kept the lamp dimmed to 50% in this week.
[Setup]
- Tent: Sticky Experts 1m x 0.5m
- Light: 1 x Sanlight Q3W dimmed 50% = 60W
- Pot: Nutriculture Oxypot Single filled with 10L solution
Switching to Growing diet.
We have got first roots in mid of this week - not very long but there are a lot of them.
Increased lamp power to 100%.
RH in the tent is rather on the lower side but there is not much I can do about it beside of keep spraying her regularly.
[Setup]
- Tent: Sticky Experts 1m x 0.5m
- Light: 1 x Sanlight Q3W at 100% = 120W
- Pot: Nutriculture Oxypot Single filled with 10L solution
Added a bit of my usual Fungus/Bact blend in the beginning of the week. Afraid this got her stunt - there was no visible development for 3-4 days after that... However, in last 3 days she seems to be recovered and gained some in height and root volume.
Got first stigmas mid of this week.
Happy Growing All!

Fellow growers greetings!
Gained +17cm in height, also roots developed super nice.
She ate 5L in this week, makes 0,7L/day in average.
RH increased and hits 55% mark eventually. Didn't drop under 40%.
She is getting wider, thus I added 2nd lamp for better light distribution but keep them dimmed at 50%. Makes same power as last week (120W) but with reduced distance from lamp to plant we get 26k-35k Lx from lower to top colas.
Cut some weak side-side brunches and lower fan leaves, not much actually.
Will change her diet to pre-flower in next week but probably keep the lamps dimmed at same power as current week.

+21cm
Increased lamp power to 90W on both sides. Get 52k on top an 20k lx on lowest colas.
Ate 12L, most of it in last days. Last 2L was already flowering dosage, although still with fulvic.
In previous weeks I have used veg. solution for spray but switched to pure tap water in this week. Getting clean for flowers.
Defoliating mostly lower side-side brunches. Also some big fan leaves from the top.
Seems she likes to have longer veg. phase. Also in my 1st run 4 years ago it was similar. In general she reminds me a lot of her big sis from my 1st run. Well, this time we don't have so much time to grow, so I need to figure out how to make her speed up a little. Maybe switching to ripen diet already in 2-3 weeks would be a solution, will see.

- Light: 2 x Sanlight Q3W at 75% = 180W

+14cm, slowing down stretching. Root volume is getting bigger.
Defoliated upper fan leaves, approx. 2 fistful a day.
Well, this lady taking her time, beside of that all good, a real beauty - very strong and powerful.
Smells like sweet sour bubble gum.
Plan to increase light power and keep on flowering diet in next week.

+5cm, I think reached her final height.
Smell is very strong and delicious.
There were a lot of leaves to trimm in this week. Getting difficult to trimm colas without touching young flowers - going to reduce defoliation.
Will continue to feed flowering mix, but still plan to switch to final parts mix very soon.
Spraying maybe every second day once a day now, keeping RH between 40%-60%.
Appreciate growing this one - very strong plant with delicious smell😍

It was quite hot and I was busy out of town for 3 days in this week. I set up a dripper for 5x300ml a day. As I came back there were only 3-4L left, all lower fan leaves yellowed and many upper leaves burned crispy. I think main reason was the heat (up to 36,5°C), while no daily tent ventilation, no cooled refills and not enough of refill in general during my absence.
Removed all lower fan leaves, also some burned upper leaves, which is difficult to do now without touching the delicate flowers.
Colas in the making. Many milky trichomes at top of main cola.
Switch to ripening solution next week.
And so, my fellow cultivator, our tale unfolds. The heatwaves may scorch, but our passion burns brighter. May your colas flourish, your trichomes shimmer, and your harvest be legendary. 🌱✨

It was even hotter in the first half of this week. I had to dim lamps to 75% to keep temp under 37°C.
Colas feel dense and heavy nicely covered in a lot of milky trichs.
I think we go on with FinalParts solution for another week.

It was bit cooler but still hot in this week - reduced lamp power to 50%.
With low RH dropping under 30% at some days and heat in last weeks we couldn't enfold full potential of this beaty but we are quite sufficient with the results anyway.
Considering limited time available for this run, her reduced appetite in this week, drying leaves, milky trichomes - it all makes sense to start harvest soon. Planning to skip flashing this time and start cutting next week already.
Happy growing all!

Have reduced lights to 25% in last week.
Next week I cut and trimmed couple of colas each evening, took me a whole week and almost 2 seasons of The last kingdom, I have appreciate that it was very relaxing.
Then drying for 1 week in growing room at 40-60% RH and 1-2 weeks curing in airtight containers with 62% RH bags.
