@PiusWaxis, I agree with you my friend: We will never have 18 hours of sun, but we will never have a lamp with a spectrum and power like the sun (no matter how much LED manufacturers advance...).
It's true that not all genetics accept high PPFD (DLI), but many growing cycles and many different people show that 20 hours of light (4 hours of darkness) is usually the most powerful for modern Autos.
But everyone has their own way! With all due respect! ๐๐ฝ
@nonick123, I have never found a situation in nature where there are 18 hours of light, so I don't want to stress my plants unnecessarily, not to mention the excessive consumption of electricity and the disproportionate use of LED lights... As for the PPFD speech, yes, there is some truth behind this thought, but not the whole truth! If it were all true as you say, I would have the same results for every plant! But as you can see from the various cultivation diaries, that is not the case... I say this to underline that in some cases genetics rule, you can put all the lights you want, all the power possible, but genetics are the way they are and nothing can be done about it ๐
@nightcrawlerBE, practically diametrically opposite methods! ๐คฃ I'm curious to see the difference between the two plants, even if unfortunately the comparison is null, they are not varieties with stable genetics, it will just be our personal curiosity ๐๐ช
@lyxinus, Because for me 15 hours for an autoflowering are more than necessary to make them give their best... the rest is just a waste of electricity and the LED lights are consumed unnecessarily!
As for the dry weight, it takes time to dry it, otherwise you risk a bitter and unsmokable product!
