Grow 2 Sour Livers Auto

The first seed took longer than expected to pop out of the dirt, Due to my impatience I popped and planted the extra Sour Livers seed they sent me in a separate planter (2 gal). If the second seed sprouts out of the dirt I may keep both plants. Nov 21: Day 1. I am using a mixture of 80% FoxFarm Ocean Forest potting soil and 20% Perlite in a Smart Pot. So far I'm just spritzing it with bottled spring water. Nov 23: Day 3 for sl1 and day 1 for sl2. Started feeding them the Big Bloom today. I’ve decided to keep the lights on 24 hours. I need the heat and I think it worked out well on my last grow. All is well so far. Nov 29: Ending week 1. Things are progressing as expected. No issues.

Nov 30: Starting week 2. Both plants are growing quickly and look healthy. Dec 2: Topped off sl1 today. First time I have topped. I pulled the fan leaves over to the side on sl1 to expose the lower nodes to the light. Dec 6: Ending week 2. Continuing with training both plants. I am not going to top sl2. All is well.

Dec 7: Starting week 3. Training both plants almost daily. There is some leaf discoloration that I will keep an eye on. Dec 12: Both plants are growing nicely. Sl1 is bigger, probably due to a larger pot and the topping I did. The topping turned out great and I can see there will be more bud production. I may be using my net on this grow.

Dec 14: Starting week 4. I have attached the net and I can already see the advantages. It is like lst on steriods. There are so many options to easily route and re-route new growth. I definitely learned about over stressing. Sl2 was in sad shape for a day. I hope she recovers. I am getting that sea of green look that I desire. Day 27 and 25...both plants are showing signs of flowering.

Dec 21: Starting week 5. The canopy of flowers is coming along nicely. I am happy with the progress. Continuing to feed twice a week. Keeping up with the training using the screen to spread the stalks out as they grow. I am trimming fan leaves as needed.

Dec 29: Start of week 6. Good flower production.

Week 7: All is well. Bud developement is coming along nicely.

Coming along. Buds are growing tall. I continue to trim on an almost daily basis, I like doing it.

Week 9: Sl1 is getting near harvest. It is getting very sticky and the smell is strong. I am happy with the bud structure. Sl2 is a bit behind in development. I’m not sure it will catch up. Perhaps it is the difference in pot size. I like what I see from the 3 gallon pot. Finally took the net off of these. Now I can bring them out to play. The net definitely did the job. Sl1 looks exactly as I would want and expect. The smell is great and the buds are sticky to the touch. Trichomes are clear to maybe a bit milky. I’m waiting on a good number of amber trichomes for this harvest. Sl2 is somewhat of a disappointment. The buds need to tighten up soon.

Week 10: Sl1 has clear to milky trichomes. Sl2 buds are getting nice and sticky. Day 72: Sl1 has clear to milky trichomes. No amber trichomes yet. Buds look nice, smell wonderful and are very sticky to the touch. I am only giving it water now.

Week 11: Sl1 is starting to show the beginnings of amber trichomes but very few. I am only giving it water. I predict a harvest this week or next. Sl2 is coming along nicely. The bud structure is interesting and different from sl1. I am still feeding this one nutrients.

Bud rot. My bad. Live and learn. I need to read up on why this happened.
