This grow is using a fully developed seed I found in a Fastberry plant I grew last summer. I think the plant hermied late in flower due to very high heat in my tent last year.
It’s going to be a fairly hands off, low stress grow. I’ve started inside without putting up my tent alongside a load of chillis and other vegetable plants I’ve grown from seed. In a few weeks I’ll move everything outside to a greenhouse.
Seed germinated in a coco jiffy pellet in less than 48 hours. I soaked the jiffy with dechlorinated tap water (used Ecothrive Neutralise) which had a very weak dose of Ecothrive Flourish (ultra refined seaweed extract) added to it.
As soon as the seed had popped I planted the jiffy pellet in a 12l fabric pot filled with Biobizz light mix and 30% extra perlite. I had pre watered the pot with water treated with Flourish again and some organic black strap molasses.
