Flatuz The plant is growing well (as far as I can tell) but what worries me a bit is the "high" temperature of about 32-35 degrees with 60% light strength and full ventilation. The humidity is averaging 30%, which I've read is not good either. However, the plant doesn't seem to be bothered by it and is growing. How can I increase the humidity without buying another humidifier that just sits in the tent?

Flatuz This week I dared to cut off the larger leaves that were blocking some light from the lower shoots. I actually wanted to top the plant, but I was unsure because there hasn't been much vertical growth... I'm currently in the middle of week 4 and I see that the decision was wrong, well, I guess I'll have to live with it.

Flatuz Thanks to some tips on how to increase the humidity, I'm averaging around 55%, which is already an improvement. Otherwise, she's growing beautifully, and she seems to have handled the defoliation quite well; I haven't moved her much since then because I wanted to let her rest. ^^ -Question: Can/should I top her at this stage? Unfortunately, my tent isn't the biggest, and I'm worried that it might become a problem later on...

Flatuz This week I topped the plant because I think there will be space issues later on. The "cutting" doesn't look so healthy in the evening anymore; unfortunately, it's quite short due to not much length growth.

Flatuz This week I unfortunately had hardly any time, so there's not much to say. The temperatures seem to be causing problems for other indoor growers too, so I'm looking forward to winter and new problems ^^ The cutting looks terrible but seems to be "growing," so I'm definitely leaving it in... I actually have less hope for it though.

Flatuz Nothing is as constant as the change in situation. This week I noticed that the upper leaves developed yellow spots and the tips are "clawing." After tips on Reddit, it could be a lot of things, but the majority said it was a calcium and manganese deficiency, evident from the "claws" indicating nitrogen saturation... well, I added calmag during the last watering, and the plant looks pretty good; the yellow is getting weaker and the claws are smoothing out. Among other things, I did some LST over several days so that the shoots are all nicely hanging in the light.

Flatuz Flowering or not flowering?! THAT?! is the question here. Recently, a colleague visited who has been dealing with this topic for several years, and his first question briefly worried me because it was, "Which flowering week is it, the 1st or already the 2nd?" I directly asked him where he sees the flowering, and he said, "With the shoots, it can definitely be flipped already"... So here it stands now, waiting... I will probably flip it in the middle of the week and send it into flowering because even on Reddit, people are unsure, so I guess I'll just go with my gut feeling and trust it. LST is going well, brought it to about the right height and nicely spread out downwards, I really like that. (again over several days) Oh, and Runtz Zombie lives up to its name. At the beginning of the week, I threw it out of the tent because the bottom was slightly greenish and slimy (too moist... I knew that because I spread a bit too much water on the tent floor while moistening the bottom, so it got a bit waterlogged)... now, however, it's back in the tent... these plants are really interesting in what they can do.

Flatuz I've switched the light setup a few days ago, and we are now officially in the next phase... I'm curious to see what this phase brings. I mean, it's not "flowering" yet, but it should start showing signs soon after I changed the light... or not? (That's why I also marked "flowering phase" as the current day for this week.)

Flatuz the lady is developing well, growth can be observed every day. I've gradually removed the towels to bring the humidity down to 50%, the temperature is still a disaster but it doesn't seem to harm the plant. so it continues, I'm already looking forward to the next weeks!

Flatuz I think the pictures speak for themselves… the plant is doing well despite the temperatures. I removed quite a bit of leaf material this week, even took off a small shoot since there wasn't really anything there, so off it went… but it was still a strange feeling to just cut off such a small bud. the journey continues!

Flatuz I hardly had time to do anything with the plant during the light phase last week and this coming week... it's frustrating. I need to come up with a reliable way to water when I have to work longer hours spontaneously because I want to avoid watering during the dark phase... another learning experience from this first grow.

Flatuz There's not much to do at the moment… just some LST and checking the existing LST wires. The buds look excellent and smell great up close, like classic Runtz. Some leaves are still showing brown spots, which indicates a calcium-magnesium deficiency, but since I only have one to a maximum of two weeks left for feeding, I won't be doing much to change things on the plant. For the next run, I've ordered a pH meter… let's see how that goes. I'm looking forward to the harvest and the next run!

Flatuz it's coming to an end, and I'm actually looking forward to the harvest and the new project! Today I tried the flower that I harvested last week, and I have to say that what I tasted and felt was really good... classic Runtz flavor with a slightly sweet note. I also sucked the last cloud out of my vape, simply delightful. The plant is also showing me that it's slowly nearing the end; it's pulling a lot of nutrients from the leaves. Today, on 02.09.24, I gave it (presumably) the last fertilizer. I think I can harvest in 1-2 weeks; that should be enough with the nutrients... Trichomes are milky, and the sugar leaves seem to be getting more beautiful by the hour with a nice color.

Despite ups and downs, she has developed splendidly; the genetics are robust and undemanding, making them perfect for beginners like me. Also, the small bushy growth form was very advantageous for me!

Flatuz Well, what can I say... a journey is coming to an end. I've learned a lot, and even though this isn't a perfect run or result, I'm still very satisfied... I'm looking forward to properly using my finished product soon. Until then, I'll enjoy vaping the good herb in my vaporizer. On to the next adventure, and thanks to all the people here on the platform for the tips and tricks!

Nice super work. The temperatures have been tough on the lady. Next run will be much better without having to do anything differently hehe. You can see unfinished buds down below 😉. Next time a bit more lollipopping. Enjoy your hard work 😋. Keep it up!

@Moschn, yeah, I've noticed that over time too. Now I know what you meant by popcorn. I understand what looks like what in which stage and what can be done accordingly... The next project has already started, and I'll post it online in the next few days as soon as I've planted them in the soil and they've germinated!

@Flatuz, no worries. You pretty much did everything right👍(just grow a healthy plant). But: runtz muffin was a great strain to show that. Others are more complicated 😅🙈. The result speaks for itself👌. For your next grow, I'll sit back and enjoy the pics 🤭.
